Author: IslandLife Added: Fri, 05 Jun 2009 14:35:18 -0800 Duration: 0This has got to be one of the best kept cultural secrets from the English speaking world. During my travels in the pacific islands I came across a tiny island in Micronesia that was extremely religious. The word in their language for "praise" is "koksuhking" (listen closely to the pronunciation)!!! Every Sunday the islanders file into church and sing "Koksuhking God" and "Koksuhking Jesus" with all the seriousness and sincerity they can muster. This video is from a language speaking class I took where me and some other travelers were hearing the word for the first time from our language instructor. More koksuhking videos to come!
