Hello again, long time no see. As you hopefully can tell, I have a new axe! Full model name is; Schecter Blackjack ATX Fr (Aged White). This came in the mail on the 7th Sept 2009. Purchased from http://www.drumcityguitarland.com if you havent checked them out, you should do so. No original this time, although I do have a few ideas brewing, however Ive been struck with writers block for a while now. Another thing you should have noticed is that my guitar tone has improved a vast amount. This is because I recently was given a POD X3 for passing my exams (for settings please PM me). So, the song is This is Absolution by Killswitch Engage from their 2006 album Daylight Dies I have their new album and may be doing a few covers from that album in the foreseeable future. I recorded it using REAPER and added on the BBE Sonic Maximizer VST plugin. I think it sounds WAY better than just using the X3 on its own. Again, I learnt most of it by ear, however there is a tutorial on how to play this song by the band (on YouTube) which I used for some of the parts which I thought were quite hard to place. WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY!!!!!!!!!!! Hello YouTubers! This is an original song composed by me. It is called Memories Lost (wtf LOL) Anyway, I've had a lot of ideas recently and I never pieced them all together until now, and I got this song. It was played in standard D tuning, one step down from regular tuning. If you're wondering about the cut before the solo, it was because it is quite difficult to switch straight to the solo from the main rhythm place. If you're also wondering about the drums and bass, drums were created on Guitar Pro, then KillrBuckeye kindly agreed to make them good using EZ Drummer. KillrBuckeye also suggested to make bass using pitch shifted guitar. I'm going to call this a metal song, but I'm sure that all of you could come up with thousands of other sub genres that mean nothing to nobody.
