Meteorologist Videos

Fifth through eigth graders welcomed me to the Pyne Arts School, and we covered all the bases, from the science of meteorology to the details of a life in broadcast television! I was proud to show off my t-shirt on NECN the next morning!

This was my second year in a row as Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer for the Esperanza Academy's annual fundraising bash - and what a wonderful time it was! One of the special characteristics of this fundraiser is the involvement of the students - from preparing to performing, the girls are an important part of the night in every way. There's no question they serve as the best reminder possible of why the night is so important! I've been visiting the Bagnall School for three or four years in a row - ever since my cousin Andrew...and then his younger brother Stevie...were students there! These kids were packed full of energy, but were fantastic "active listeners" and I even learned how to do the "Quiet Coyote" - a classroom favorite! :)

It's only a few times each year that I make an afterschool visit, but I enjoy having the chance to meet both the students AND their parents after their school day has ended! Lots of kids at the Coffin School tune into NECN in the morning, and I was welcomed so warmly - right down to the long line for autographs afterward! Thanks for being such a friendly and energetic group...even at the end of your day!
