BIG BUSINESS on CAPITAL CHAOS 2008 The Boardwalk 7/17/2008 also on the bill were MELVINS & GIANT SQUID Big Business is a stoner/sludge metal band from Seattle who are currently signed to Hydra Head Records. http://www.bigbigbusiness.com/ Big Business started as a two piece band composed of Jared Warren of Karp and The Tight Bros From Way Back When, and Coady Willis of Murder City Devils. Their sound has been characterized as a bombastic and frantic low end attack, marked by Warren's signature vocal delivery. Most frequently they are compared to Warren's old band Karp, GodheadSilo and The Melvins. On March 09, 2008 Toshi Kasai was introduced onstage as the third member of Big Business. Both the band and Toshi have verrified this on their respective Myspace pages. Big Business will be recording a new album in the summer of 2008. The album will be produced by Phil Ek, who has produced both of their previous albums. Juggernaut by ElDave It is 1 full year of RfL. We have been around since 2004, but today marks the 365th episode! (Technically, there are more, but who cares, eh?) We also finished off the first 5 days of the challenge that SallyGirl threw at us. After completing this week, I think we can do this. We did alter the challenge just a bit though, we don t have to do the Sunday shows to win. we may still do a couple, however. Now, on to the show! It is a Quickjabs today. I wanted to do a full show, but ate up all the recording a prep time dialing in the recording settings. I can t record like I was at 4 shows a month.
