Luis Enrique Mej a Godoy naci en Somoto, Madriz (Nicaragua), el 19 de febrero de 1945. Es uno de los m s importantes compositores e interpretes nicarag enses. Particip activamente en el per odo de gobierno sandinista (1979 - 1990) con responsabilidades en l. Su obra, de contenido altamente social, es muy importante en la historia de la m sica de Nicaragua y de toda la musica desarrollada en espa ol. Ha recibido muchos reconocimientos, nacionales e internacionales destacan Orden Cultural Rub n Dar o (m ximo reconocimiento a los artistas e intelectuales en Nicaragua), Medalla del 25 aniversario del teatro Rub n Dar o, Gueguense de Oro, etc. En 1999 tanto l como su hermano Carlos fueron nombrados por la Universidad nacional Agraria doctores Honoris Causa en desarrollo rural.

Mark Mejia sings Got To Be There

Highlights of Chase Mejia WR/DB of Shawnee Mission Northwest HS. Chase finished the 2006 season with 37 receptions for 600 yards and five touchdowns. He also had 15 kickoff returns for 500 yards (two TDs) and returned 12 punts for 260 yards. He was named to the U.S. Army all-combine team. Chase is a former SI/TAKKLE Video Face in the Crowd.
