If I can't get eye contact, should I give up? It seems to me that if you were attracted at all to a guy, you'd let him catch eye contact...right?

I recently got out of a long/serious relationship. I have came out of it with very low self esteem too and I have started going out and meeting so many new people. both girls and guys tell me I'm beautiful but I don't see it. I would like to think that a guy wouldn't say it just to get somewhere with me like that so how can I tell if he is?

My girlfriend was raped a couple years back. Not until recently has she had flashbacks. I do not know what its like I just try to be there and help and talk to her and calm her down. Chatting to a guy from online for few weeks, him texting everyday, we go out on date once and he still texts everyday but just hi how are you. Then he asks to go out again, we do, nice evening he asks if I'd like to go out next week, I say yes that would be great. We kiss. I text to say thank you had a nice night etc got one back saying next time he wants to give me a big kiss. Next day sent text, suggesting when we could go out for drink, he says cannot make that day maybe Sat and I go back said cannot make that day unfortunately, have a nice weekend...not heard anything back now, for days.So why are guys so full on with their attentions one minute? and then nothing, nada, zilch?

I've been thinking of telling this guy I like him for a few days, but I just can't figure out the right way. I want to tell him asap. I'd thought about txting him, but I thought it'd be better to tell him to his face. But I don't know what I should say. Should I just be direct and tell him, "I like you."? Do guys like that or does it scare them?

A girl becomes interested in a guy, and the guy becomes interested in the girl, because they supposedly "instantly connected" the guy asks the girl for her number, and right after he gets her number, she says to call him. is this a test? I have heard that girls test guys to see if they can get the idea, or did she really mean to call her?cause I wound up calling her twice to say hi, with no callback either time.

Why do women think that guys do things on purpose to be jerks? I have been called a jerk just for doing the everyday run of the mill activities of conversations. When guys talk most of it is a joke or a sarcastic comment. If a guy is friends with a woman is there a such thing as hanging out too much?A example like maybe 3-4 times a week. She's seeing a guy,but the says isn't quite sure if it'd work out with my f/friend and him.
