Filed under: Drama, Fandom, Images After getting a glimpse of Matt Damon with more cushin' for the pushin', we now get to see him putting things in his mouth and baring his chest through a sexy Hawaiian shirt. Yes, the above is another picture of Damon as Mark Whitacre in The Informant. The Bad and Ugly has thrown up a handful of stills for Steven Soderbergh's film, from Damon putting what looks like some sort of dental add-on into his mouth, to showing off his expanding waistline in orange shorts and a loud, tacky shirt. Whitacre seems happy with the casting. He told the Herald & Review: "It's like I was two people. I assume that's why they chose Matt Damon for the movie, because he plays those roles that have such psychological intensity. In the Bourne movies, he doesn't even know who he is." (The pic attached to that piece also makes it more obvious why Damon was chosen.) Matt has definitely morphed himself to play the famous FBI informant, and I wonder: will the morphing Oscar mojo work for him as it did for actresses like Charlize Theron? The long-running "feud" between Matt Damon and late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel reached new heights earlier this month when Damon shot a video in which Kimmel's comedian girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, declared she was "fucking Matt Damon." Immediately after the Oscars last night, Kimmel fired back with a truly epic effort called "I'm fucking Ben Affleck," which included appearances from celebrities like Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Don Cheadle, Robin Williams and Huey Lewis, to name just a few. The Kimmel-Damon fight is, of course, wholly manufactured, but at least has been consistently funny, starting with Kimmel's regular end-of-show gag, "Apologies to Matt Damon, we've run out of time," and extending through to Damon's on-air tantrum about getting bumped and two gags involving Kimmel's special correspondent, Guillermo. Kimmel's latest Ben Affleck video takes the joke to new lengths -- and new heights in the art of free PR: Celebrities included in the video, according to Kimmel's people: Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Don Cheadle, Robin Williams, Huey Lewis, Rebecca Romijn, Macy Gray, Pete Wentz, Dominic Monaghan, Joel and Benji Madden, Josh Groban, Christina Applegate, Meat Loaf, Perry Farrell, Lance Bass, Joan Jett and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The brazilliant Sarah Silverman gave her boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel, a special present to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of his ABC talk show last night. She made this music video with Matt Damon! You must check it out (above). Also, Matt gets even for all of this jabs at Damon where at the end of the show Kimmel would go "Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time." Here's the background for story from WikiPedia: Comedian Jimmy Kimmel often says: "Our apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time" near the end of his ABC television show Jimmy Kimmel Live, a gag lampooning instances where shows cannot feature their last guest due to time constraints. On September 12, 2006, after a segment highlighting the running gag and a lengthy introduction by Kimmel, Damon finally appeared on the show, only for Kimmel to apologetically cut his interview and head to credits, as Damon cursed him. Kimmel later confirmed to USA Weekend that the skit was entirely planned and Damon willingly played along.
