It's a tricky thing, doing a remake of a Hollywood Classic... but with a legion of fans all his own, Rob Zombie has the cult-power to do Halloween Remake with a certain degree of comfort that his audience will come out and support it. We're not specifically that audience, but we're both pretty familiar with the Halloween mythos. Familiar enough to think that a revisitation of John Carpenter's famous character treads on very hallowed ground indeed... what did we make of it? Matt and Nat have minimal qualms with this sequel, and considering the change of ownership for the production companies, we're thankful we got the movie at all! Guillermo del Toro blows us away, as usual, with his amazing imagination, distinctive creative signature, and all-around bad-ass vibe with HellBoy 2. We didn't have time for a preview, but we jammed some sweet scenes into this review to entice you incase you haven't seen it yet! ~Matt + Nat

Matt and Nat weren't really expecting much form this, mostly because the ads were pretty lacklustre... if you even saw them. Between an ad campaign that seemed confused from day one and the fact that the source material is actually just too old to have been raised on ourselves, we didn't jump on this one right away, but it sure was a fun ride once we did. For this week s BSGcast, we find ourselves in Houston, Texas, away from the usual studio and bringing you a special BSGcast from the comfort of the hotel room as we chat about how the Hub managed to make the lines between Human and Cylon even more blurred. After a week of fretting over the fate of Baltar and Roslin, we re getting to see the flip-side of last week s episode the battle of the Resurrection Hub was glorious, but the character beats in The Hub were definitely the highlight. Without which not indeed, Ron.... after skipping a Friday for Memorial Day, we are treated to a VERY contravercial episode. We've heard someone say it came close to Woman King as his least favourite episode. Ouch. Matt loved it, Nat not so much, but what about you?

We ve been talking about it in the comments of the Preview on YourGeekNews.com for a while, but Matt + Nat chime in with their Review of Iron Man. Matt is convinced this is the new yardstrick to which every comic movie must be measured, and Nat just can t get enough of Robert Downey Jr. s Performance as Tony Stark. All in all, it seems like Jon Favreau s Iron Man managed to serve many masters but let s break it all down What did you think? Escape Velocity in a nutshell was brilliantly directed by Eddie Olmos ( Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down ) and masterfully written by Jane Espenson ( Dirty Hands anyone else notice Galen s nod to that episode to put her up against the bulkhead and shoot her ), but did it have enough action to keep everyone happy? We re stewing the character arcs now, we know we re getting ready for what is sure to be a massive cliffhanger for episode 10 of the season, but did it keep everyone satisfied for another week?
