A diario en la Ciudad de México encontramos diversas historias. Si viajamos en microbus, en el metro, en taxi; o en nuestro lugar de residencia, pero ¿cuántas historias se escriben a diario? y ¿cuántas de ellas tienen finales trágicos?. Perfume de violetas, de la directora Maryse Sistach, se encarga de mostrarnos parte de esa complejidad urbana que es el valle de México, zona en la cual las alumnas de una secundaria tienen que protegerse no sólo de los microbuseros, sino de los tabues de la sexualidad en la adolescencia, las represiones e incomprensión de los profesores (léase también sistema de educación retrógrada) y hasta de aquellas personas consideradas “amigas”. Dicha producción se encuentra cimentada en dos actuaciones muy buenas, de Ximena Ayala y Nancy Gutiérrez, quienes a pesar de su nula experiencia en cine, nos demuestran que la fórmula de atreverse a experimentar con actores jóvenes complementado con la participación de Arcelia Ramírez y María Rojo puede resultar gratificante. También baste mencionar el soundtrack de la producción, en el que encontramos diversos artistas mexicanos entre ellos: Lost Acapulco, Las Ultrasónicas, Salón Victoria y Hocico. Pero Perfume de violetas contrasta con la tercera parte que la propia directora pretendió realizar, ésta entrega denominada “La niña en la piedra” podríamos decir que es la contraparte de aquella. Ya que ahora vemos actuaciones débiles, una historia que se pierde en no saber si concluir de una forma trágica la producción o regresar al mundo color de rosa.
