Se stai fumando fumo di altri non dire che il tuo è migliore, a meno di non essere disposto a metterlo immediatamente a disposizione. Se un amico ti fa fumare hai l'obbligo morale di restituirgli, prima o poi, il favore. Se hai poco fumo, che non basta per tutti, evita di mostrarlo a chi non ne beneficerà. Se compri il fumo da un amico, o da un amico di un tuo amico, è gentile rollare una canna, (anche piccola), e fumarla insieme. Molta attenzione a non parlare con altri del fatto che hai comprato fumo da un amico: quella persona,che ti ha solamente fatto un favore, può passare per uno che traffica. Se fumate un chilum, colui che riempie il chilum col proprio fumo , non importa di chi esso sia, ha diritto di accenderlo. Se qualcuno ti fa fumare per bene è gentile ringraziarlo. Se ti capita di dover chiedere cartine, tabacco o fuoco ad uno sconosciuto, è educato offrirgli alcuni tiri in cambio della gentilezza. La persona che ha procurato il fumo ha diritto a scegliere la musica. Non sbavare la canna! Non aspettare che la canna prenda fuoco per poi dargli una aggiustata. è meglio prevenire che poi doverci mettere una pezza! Rispettate sempre il turno! Poiché il fumo è ancora illegale, evita di fumare con troppa leggerezza per strada. Se siete troppo stonati non vergognatevi di saltare un giro! Eviterete di rincoglionirvi troppo e darete ad altri la possibilità di trarne miglior profitto! Mai buttar via l'ultimo tiro! (a meno che non lo abbia già fatto il proprietario del fumo...). Se fumate a casa (o in macchina) d'altri, accertatevi di non lasciare in giro filtri o altre "tracce" compromettenti. Potrebbero finire in mano a persone cui non dovrebbero... Sappiate usare il collirio degli amici: una sola goccia è sufficiente a rendere limpidi gli occhi. Accettate di buon grado che il fumo possa non bastare per tutti! Se il fumo è poco e tutti dovessero fumare, nessuno ne trarrebbe profitto! Quando stai fumando con amici non chiedere mai la canna, arriva sempre ! Chi la fa spegnere la deve riaccendere e chi la accende storta o male deve aggiustarla prima di farla girare. Chi delega sistematicamente la fase del "rollatore" ad altri, con la scusa di non essere capace, ha il dovere di fare un sincero sforzo per imparare. Se qualcuno del gruppo sta rollando la canna è bene che qualcun altro prepari un buon filtro. Ad un amico una canna non si vende, si regala!!! Se un tuo amico ti procura il fumo, mai lamentarsi della quantità , è pur sempre un favore. Se ci si accorge di aver trattenuto troppo la canna si chieda pubblicamente scusa e, avendo la materia prima, ci si prenoti come fornitore per il prossimo giro. Se si è ancora in grado (poiché, visto l'inconveniente a cui si è andati incontro, questo non è scontato!) ci si proponga anche come facitore. Se qualcuno sta male perché ha fumato troppo è un dovere assisterlo. Chi accende un chilum è tenuto ad essere il pulitore prescelto del medesimo! Se qualcuno ti offre da fumare non rifiutare mai! Se qualcuno dopo aver fumato, ti chiede un po' della tua bibita, non puoi rifiutarglielo. Chi rompe un chilum lo deve ricomprare. Un chilum non si svuota fino a quando la cenere non è bianca. Prima di passarla, ricorda sempre di scuoterla. Non affezionarti mai alla canna. Se qualcuno sta rullando, ma è sprovvisto di sigarette, è da bastardi fare storie per offrirne una. Sarebbe un atto di cavalleria gradito, offrire prima alle signore (che ovviamente non devono approfittarsene). Se chi rulla sbaglia a chiuderla, è bene dare un'altra possibilità all'abile artigiano senza inutili commenti. L'ultimo tiro al rollatore, il penultimo al fornitore. Meglio non vantarsi mai che il proprio fumo è il migliore, prima o poi qualcuno te ne porterà di più buono. Assicurarsi di fare un cannone che possa fare almeno un giro completo. È maleducazione chiedere due tiri se c'è qualcuno che aspetta il suo giro, quindi un saggio fumatore non deve far fumare chi lo chiede con insistenza.
