AR Digital Binocular Station brings Museum to Life

from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) on November 09, 2009
Duration: 44
The Digital Binocular Station (DBS) is based on a traditional binocular station, but adds a layer of interactive, 3D stereoscopic digital content between the user and their view of the real world. http://www.DigitalBinocularStation.com This DBS is in the Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand - 10 artifacts are glowing, and when looked at for 3 seconds, come to life in various ways. The main aim was to add a deeper layer of context and understanding to the artifacts - how they were made, how they were used or experienced in their original environment and the stories or legends that are associated with them. Bring your location to life and create a new revenue stream: Increase interest, relevance and accessibility of your location with this unique, compelling installation. Create another revenue stream with its pay per use (e.g. coin-operated) features. Peace of mind - robust, self-contained, easy to use, and has a small footprint. Affordable - available to lease, and can be paid for by a fraction of the revenue collected.

Pres Obama Speech G20 Conference

Pres Obama Speech G20 Conference

Please rate subscribe and Pass On! Thank you and Wake Up!! Obama delivers ultimatum to Iran in closing speech at G20 summit US president says Iran can repsonsibly use nuclear power or face potential repercussions. President Barack Obama declared today that Iran is on a path to confrontation with world powers unless it agrees to come clean and disclose all its nuclear activities. He said he would not rule out military action. Obama joined the leaders of Britain and France in accusing the Islamic republic of clandestinely building an underground plant to make nuclear fuel that could be used to build an atomic bomb. Iranian officials acknowledged the facility but insisted it had been reported to nuclear authorities as required. Iran's action raised grave doubts about its promise to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes only, Obama told a news conference at the conclusion of a G20 summit whose focus on world economic recovery was overshadowed by disclosure of the Iranian plant. Obama seemed to hold out limited hope that a meeting next week between Iran, the US and other world powers would lead to resolution of the nuclear standoff. When we find that diplomacy does not work, we will be in a much stronger position to, for example, apply sanctions that have bite, he said. That's not the preferred course of action. I would love nothing more than to see Iran choose the responsible path. Link to article: http://tinyurl.com/ydztw3x Want to know why Obama gave Iran an ultimatum? Here is what may be happening behind the scenes: http://tinyurl.com/ya4e4gf
