It is often believed the straights are the easiest part of a race track. One of the most famous and longest straights is the Mulsanne at Le Mans. At 3.1 miles it can present a number of issues if you're driving a slow car, such as Redline's GTP Mazda 787B. Fear not though, as I'm here to offer several useful suggestions to get you through. If you know me though, you'll instantly know these 'suggestions' might not be all that 'useful', but you never know ;) Thanks to Gav for being a sport about this :)

Aucun écho venu d'en bas ne m'atteint. Le regard sans cesse dirigé vers l'horizon, je maintiens le cap vers l'éternité. Le Mans fut passablement honoré de me compter parmi ses nouveaux habitants. Précisons qu’en esthète digne de ce nom je loge dans les hauteurs aristocratiques de la cité (la partie vieille de la ville : le Vieux-Mans ), à l’ombre des tours gallo-romaines qui donnent aux remparts leur aspect... gallo-romain justement. La vitrine ne manque pas de prestige, ma foi ! Je dirais que le Vieux-Mans, pompeusement renommé Cité Plantagenêt , est l’équivalent provincial des Champs-Elysées pour Paris. Disons que j’habite les Champs-Elysées, ce sera plus simple. Je suis un authentique dandy. Modestement, je me lève aux aurores. Je porte canne, lorgnon, gants blancs et chapeau. Du moins en esprit, théoriquement. Un vrai dandy n’a pas besoin d’artifices pour s’affirmer comme tel, n’est-ce pas ? Aussi arboré-je avec morbidesse et hauteur quelque vague manteau rapiécé en guise de canne, lorgnon, gants blancs et chapeau. La qualité du tissu ayant finalement une moindre importance, le port seul compte. Il doit être dédaigneux, distingué et détaché à la fois. Une moue inébranlable signe définitivement ma hauteur. La moue aristocratique me sied à merveille.
