Akvo's Mark Charmer talks with Mark Arcedeckne-Butler, country representative for Mali and Senegal for Tear Fund. They work with mainly church organisations and Christian NGOs. Partners carry out water and sanitation, public health, literacy and education and food security projects. Tear Fund works with them to improve their capacity and effectiveness so they can hopefully attract more funding from different sources, "because they've got the capacity and quality in their work and feel more confident about it".
