The hike this year begins at the Fernandez Trailhead located off of Beasore Road near Bass Lake, California. The Fernandez trail interacts with the Lillian Loop trail, Timber Creek trail, the Post Peak Pass trail and passes into Yosemite National Park (over Fernandez Pass).
