It seems the last few waves of both Legacy and Clone Wars figures have been scarce on toy shelves these past few months, but in time for Black Friday new toys are hitting and hitting hard. Be it the new revision of the Ughnaught, Cad Bane, the A New Hope Wave, or exclusives like Wal-Mart's Dewback or AT-ST, the time for collectors to shop is now! On the latest episode of Star Wars Action News, hosts Arnie, Marjorie, and Scott talk about which stores are most likely to have the figure you're looking for. Company unveiled 2010 LEGO Brand Disney "Celebrity" Minifigures and showcased a life-size Buzz Lightyear as part of the four-day celebration ENFIELD, CT (September 14, 2009) - In honor of the inaugural Disney D23 expo, LEGO Systems Inc. encouraged Disney fans and families to participate in a four-day collaborative build of an 8x15-foot LEGO mural celebrating Walt Disney, iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Tinker Bell, Goofy and Buzz Lightyear among others. Comprised of more than 150,000 LEGO bricks the mural featured 19 colors and was built by a LEGO Master Model Builder and 4,000 Expo attendees as part of the Disney Consumer Products showcase at the Anaheim Convention Center, September 10-14, 2009. A time-lapse video captures the progression of the mural build, whose characters were kept a surprise for attendees until the final day of the event. Photography highlights a 5-foot, 2-inch tall Buzz Lightyear made of LEGO bricks, fans in action building, the completed mural, and more. The company also unveiled, for the first time, five LEGO sets based on Disney's Pixar "Toy Story 1" and "Toy Story 2", launching in January 2010, as well as the LEGO minifigures based on Walt Disney Pictures' 2010 feature film release, "Prince of Persia", to be featured in LEGO building sets launching in April 2010. "As both inventor and innovator, Walt Disney's creativity has inspired generations worldwide. Built brick-by-brick by thousands of children of all ages, this mural is our tribute to his creativity and the lasting impact of the world he created," said Michael McNally, brand relations director, LEGO Systems. "We also showcased a child's image because we believe that children are among the most creative people and their 'CLICK' moments of inspiration on the playroom floor can someday lead to imagination on the scale of the wonderful world of Disney."
