Are You Ready to be an Entrepreneur

Are You Ready to be an Entrepreneur

from Bigg Success on September 14, 2009
Duration: 61
Are entrepreneurs born or made? That was the question posed in a great article we saw in The Tennessean not long ago. The author concludes that entrepreneurs are born from experiences. We agree. Entrepreneurs are not born. They are created from life experiences. ___ ___ Here in the U.S., we re fortunate that our culture fosters entrepreneurship probably more today than in generations past. It used to be that entrepreneurs were considered renegades. They were the people nobody would hire so they didn t have a choice. Now entrepreneurship is a lifestyle option that even the most qualified people make. So what motivates people to strike out on their own? Career events Franchisors often see a spike in demand in an area where layoffs are happening. Sometimes we don t come to entrepreneurship; it comes to us. It may be career frustration. Many people start their own business because they re bored with their current occupation. Perhaps they feel like they ve topped out. They ve gone as far as they can in their current career so they decide to start something of their own. Personal motives Art Williams, the football coach who became a billionaire by building his own insurance business, said he was just sick and tired of being sick and tired. W. Clement Stone, who built an insurance dynasty in the depths of The Great Depression, cites inspirational dissatisfaction as the source for many great achievements. How do you know you re ready to start? Entrepreneuring is a process. Like any process, there has to be a starting point. ___ The desire to be my own boss just consumed me. I had this feeling in my gut that I just couldn t get rid of. I couldn t stand not owning my own business. This desire just ate me up and spit me out every single day that I wasn t in business for myself. ___ ___ For me, it didn t seem that the opportunities I needed in my corporate career were there any longer. I just couldn t get where I wanted to be if I didn t strike out on my own. It was a very, very difficult decision. It was incredibly emotional. But looking at my industry now, I m glad I jumped into entrepreneurship when I did. r? ___ The battle between two fears We think it comes down to fear. The general population has an overwhelming fear of failure. Entrepreneurs have a fear of not trying. They just have to know what would happen if they just tested their bigg idea. You re ready to be an entrepreneur when your fear of not trying overcomes your fear of failure. You reach a point where inaction or delay is just not acceptable any longer. You have to go for it. You have to take your shot at bigg success! How did you know you were ready to strike out on your own? General Motors Announces Production Reduction..Bill Palte http://www.MLMintegrityMarketing.com/?t=YTGM General Motors Corp has announced reduced production at all of its facilities for the near future. With fewer vehicles being sold, production demand is being reduced to match the consumer demand. These reductions will last from 6 to 9 weeks, depending on individual models and demand. The UAW employees will receive virtually all of their pay, since their contract requires the company to pay the difference between their normal wages and unemployment. Unfortunately, the suppliers affected by these shutdowns arent so lucky. The employees will get unemployment without any company match. What this means is that most people will get somewhere between 30 50% of their normal wage. Again, on the downside, their expenses dont reduce proportionately, so they struggle to make ends meet by whatever means possible. For many, this leads to chasing alternatives to replace their lost income. Of the alternatives that are out there for the unemployed, which arent many, one is to start a business from scratch, buy a franchise, or get into an MLM. Each of these has huge risks, since 90% of all new businesses fail within 5 years. Starting from scratch requires money, a startup plan, advertising, accounting, etc. Not a good option without a large amount of experience and know how. The franchise is the same requirements plus a large outlay of cash to purchase the rights to the business. An MLM costs considerably less to start, but few people know how to advertise effectively to build the business. My alternative is much simpler. I can teach you HOW to market ANY business so you can be successful. Its not difficult with the training and tools that we have assembled for your education. It just takes a little time and a little money. Then you have to apply yourself to the training, follow our instructions, and you can have a profitable business very quickly. Chrysler Corporation announces Bankruptcy filing..Bill Palte http://www.MLMintegrityMarketing.com/?t=YTCC Chrysler Corp. announced recently that it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. This is a going concern along with the possible purchase by the French automaker Fiat. With the bankruptcy, Chrysler plans to emerge within 30 60 days as a stronger, but leaner company. The plans are to close up to 9 facilities and reduce the models produced to 4 or 5. Thousands of employees are affected by this plan. Chrysler has stated that they will try to accommodate as many employees as possible in the existing facilities including possible transfers instead of laying off the employees. Now I dont know about you, but moving to a different state to take a job with a company that just emerged from bankruptcy, presuming the company will survive, doesnt sound like a good plan to me. I can see many potential downfalls, including moving a family, trying to sell a house, etc., etc. The alternative is to find a way to support yourself until a new job appears, if it does. Of the options, which arent many, is to start a business from scratch, buy a franchise, or get into an MLM. Each of these has huge risks, since 90% of all new businesses fail within 5 years. As the worsening economy leads to massive job losses potentially increasing the ranks of the tens of millions of Americans without health insurance FRONTLINE travels the country examining the nation's broken health care system and exploring the need for a fundamental overhaul. The scale of the problem now facing the Obama administration, FRONTLINE finds, is staggering, as lay-offs, major illness, and other unexpected life changes leave more and more Americans uninsured, underinsured, or uninsurable. FRONTLINE also goes inside insurance companies to question executives on their policies, programs, and priorities and examines the problems in one state's attempts at health care reform.

http://barackobamaeconomics.magnify.net With 2.6 Million jobs lost in 2008, Barack Obama is ready to give the economy a much needed stimulus with his Economic Stimulus plan that he claims will create 3 to 4 million jobs over the next few years. Obama cautioned that results would not be instantaneous in solving the economic crisis. Obama's economists also pointed out that unemployment could reach 10% before the recession ends.1 in 10 homeowners are at risk of foreclosure as the dollar continues to decline in value. The government definitely needs to step in to reduce the number of home foreclosures. Infusing Bailout Cash into the crumbling economy to the tune of $350 billion for the financial industry or an $825 billion two-year stimulus package from the house majority which would include tax breaks and more government spending. Well hopefully the old wives tales hold true, You have to spend money to get any. http://barackobamaeconomics.magnify.net Also, check out all of the latest and greatest Barack Obama Videos: Barack Obama Inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States of America. Famous Barack Obama Speeches that paved the way for President Barack Obama. Barack Obama unveiling his economic stimulus and cash bailout plan. Barack Obama divisive break from Bush and policy. Will federal regulation help avoid the next economic crisis. Is this going to be a democratic or socialist government. Economic climate change is inevitable even as Barack Obama succeeds in doubling renewable energy resources, powering 6 billion homes and lowering power bills. Sun and wind still rule. The American dollar downturn has investors all over the world gripping their wallets all over the global economy. Nations all over the world are awaiting the cash bailout plan although not all embracing it as many news sources tout it as highly unpopular. Many politicians are also waiting on another auto bailout plan while I am sure many of the unemployed are more concerned about the job stimulus plan creating new jobs.
