We're both pretty rocked by Skinwalkers, considering some of the lackluster competition in the Werewolf genre as of late, that's not too surprising. But in one of his first times out as director, Jim Isaacs gets a killer performance out of most of his actors, and Stan Winston's creature effects stand up well to the CGI smattering of pixels that the audience is accustomed to these days! ~Matt + Nat

Recently we ve had Cursed, the Underworlds, and you can kind of count Van Helsing, since there were some pretty amazing digital werewolves there. But none of them really stack up to the classics in the 80 s - American Werewolf in London and the Howling. Skinwalkers gives an interesting modern take on the Werewolf, using the most retro style possible: Man-in-Suit. With Max Evans (Jason Behr) from Roswell and Casey Jones (Elias Koteas) from the original Ninja Turtles film as the leads, and the effects pro from Terminator, Jurassic Park and Interview with a Vampire, Skinwalkers has all the ingredients to be a worthy successor to the Werewolf genre.
