OAS 152 The Musical Bliss of David Young Part 2OAS 152 The Musical Bliss of David Young Part 2
from Omni Art Salon 21st Century Art Podcast
April 26, 2008

Jeffrey converses with divinely inspired musical artist David Young. David delights with stories of his remarkable life of adventure, deep consciousness and joy as he shares his amazing stories of events in his life that contributed to his becoming an internationally acclaimed composer and musical performer with an enormous and enthusiastic global following. Grammy nominated for Best Instrumental Album, David started playing the recorder in 3rd grade and has become one of the world’s most well known recorder players, producing more than 40 CD s and selling over 1,000,000 copies. What David Young does has never been done before. He has developed a method of playing two different size recorders at the same time, in harmony, which creates a sound that some call the most beautiful music on Earth . David’s performances are visually and musically stimulating to any audience. Over the years, David Young has performed for Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Guns s. David Young travels 40 weeks of the year performing at corporate and special events, private parties, as well as schools, churches, and retirement communities. Many listeners have had their lives touched by the angelic, relaxing quality of his beautiful modern instrumental music. As David says about his musical gift to the world: “All of this relaxing music comes from my heart and was created to give people a positive alternative, a sense of peace that makes life more enjoyable. I call it beautiful music because styles and their names come and go, but beautiful music will always be beautiful music.” I first heard David perform in Los Angeles 8 years ago, and from the first minute I was hooked - his music truly is beyond beautiful because of the deep connection it makes to soul itself, the source of all life. And it is this rare quality that is ever present in David musical recordings. It is very healing, incredibly uplifting, and takes me completely out of my body beyond time and space to the realms of loves source where I can replenish the power of joy that feeds my soul. Music speaks the universal language of the heart, and David is fluent in that language. I think you will really enjoy hearing from David in this interview as well as the music at the end which is a collection of samples from his collection of 40 CD’s. I have been listening to David s enchanting light music for the last 8 years and have never tired of it’s timeless uplifting quality. David musical sampler is played at the end of this interview.
from Dailymotion - most commented videos
February 13, 2008
