In this discussion Younus Abdullah Muhammad discusses Hajj, the 5th pillar of Islam, and places it in proper historical perspective documenting that it actually represents a global paradigm shift whereby Islam was establshed and the religion was perfected. By contrasting the way hajj is looked upon today as a reliigous ritual against the way the Prophet (SAWS) envisioned it as indicator of Allah's all-encompassing victory, the lecture calls for a return to understanding the hajj as a symbol of Islam as a complete way of life and calls on Muslims to view it as more than a mere festival and ritual and to work in a similar manner as the Prophet (SAWS) in making it a symbol of Islam's superiorty and liberating tendancy thus emancipating humanity from today's reversion to jahilliyya by establsihing all of Allah's religion in the land.
