Gas is high. Airlines are nickel and diming you to death. And your employees are getting squeezed. This state of travel could put video conferencing over the top. Telecommuting may hold special appeal for Generation Y workers, more than two-thirds of whom say they want to work for an environmentally responsible company. (That compares to 52% of baby boomers, according to results of a recent Harris Interactive survey.) According to the Environmental Protection Agency, $4.5 billion worth of gas would be saved if employees that could feasibly work from their homes did so 1.6 days per week. Distributed by Tubemogul. IPv6
from YouTube :: Videos by kenradio June 10, 2008
The Internet address space available under the current protocol, IPv4, will run out real soon, 2011, and the only long term solution is to transition to IPv6 which has sufficient address capacity to give every grain of sand on the planet its own unique Internet address, or something like that. Only 16% of the total IPv4 address space remained unallocated in early 2008, this situation is critical for the future of the Internet economy because all new users connecting to the Internet, and all businesses that require IP addresses for their growth, will be affected by the change from the current status of ready availability of unallocated IPv4 addresses. Why Social Networking
from YouTube :: Videos by kenradio May 16, 2008
Social networking sites act as a conduit to connect like-minded people and they are therefore still attracting members because it fuels the human need to feel part of a community. Social media networks are here to stay - though thinking they will stay as they are indefinitely is unrealistic and impractical. They will of course evolve. Social network sites are web-based services that allow individuals to (1) construct a public or semi-public profile within a bounded system, (2) articulate a list of other users with whom they share a connection, and (3) view and traverse their list of connections and those made by others within the system. The nature and nomenclature of these connections may vary from site to site. Distributed by Tubemogul.
