Simply Swimtastic

Simply Swimtastic

from Podmaster: Sport on October 26, 2009
Duration: 182
Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, attending life-saving lessons or competing at grassroots level – swimming allows everyone to have fun and stay fit whatever your age. The sport has grown in popularity since the Beijing Olympics last year - with stars such as Rebecca Adlington providing positive role models for rising talent. The sport now plays a wider role in improving health and fitness levels across the UK. Nowhere else is this more apparent than at the Kellogg’s Swimtastic Awards 2009, which celebrated some of the country’s most outstanding non-elite achievements in the pool. Aimed at amateur swimmers, the awards recognise people of all ages and abilities as well as those responsible for providing learn to swim lessons. Some have gone beyond the call of duty to help share the love of swimming with their friends, family and community. Others are so committed to bettering themselves or improving the lives of others that they set the standard for others to draw inspiration from, raising money for noble causes or showing the strength of the human spirit in overcoming adversity. Iphone Porn, Food Cutbacks And Have You Recieved Your Stimulus Check?!

getthedaily.com It s reported that more than 5-million Americans have not received their 6-hundred-dollar rebate from the IRS, because they haven t yet filed a tax return. Due to a new economic stimulus package this year, the IRS sent out about 77-million tax rebates. Many of the unclaimed checks are meant for retirees and disabled veterans, who may even qualify for additional rebates. The Internal Revenue Service says it will send explanation letters in the next few months to the Americans who have not yet filled out the correct rebate form. So far, the IRS has issued rebates amounting to 63-point-8-billion dollars. Don t be fooled that some of the items at your local grocery store are staying the same price even through the current economic production price increase. Many companies are choosing to cut-back on product size, in order to deal with rising costs. With higher prices for eggs, wheat and corn, Kellogg s recently downsized its signature cereal boxes by about 2-point-4 ounces, after already cutting-down the box size in 2006.
