Mark and Lexie must cope with the arrival of a woman from his past.

Well, I finished this, thank God. Not to say that I didn't enjoy making it (I loved making it, actually), but I have a midterm on Monday...and because of this vid I've yet to study (smart plan, I know). ANYWAY, another angsty vid, because I guess I'm in that kind of mood. This vid focuses on the angsty relationships of Alex and Izzie (Grey's Anatomy), Arthur and Gwen (Merlin), Lucas and Peyton (One Tree Hill), and Ryan and Marissa (The O.C.), and more specifically on the guys who angst/cause the angst (though they are usually not always responsible, there are times when actually, yes, they really are). A little synopsis for you... Alex and Izzie: This vid deals with their relationship at the beginning of season five - it's clear that Alex has feelings for Izzie, but his fear of truly loving someone and letting someone in makes him push her away. Arthur and Gwen: Although these two start the series barely even talking to one another, eventually circumstances push them into each others paths and, well, sparks fly. They share a kiss, but Arthur, knowing his father, the king, would never approve of the handmaiden, ends things before they can begin, too noble to ask Gwen to wait for him until he is King. As one can imagine, MAJOR angst ensues (much to the delight of Arthur fangirls, because emo Arthur? pretty much the sexiest thing on the planet. sorry. had to put that out there), and Arthur desperately pushes Gwen away in an attempt to protect his heart. Lucas and Peyton: In senior year, after years of burying their feelings for the sake of others, Lucas and Peyton FINALLY became a couple. While Lucas stayed in North Carolina to pursue college and coach basketball and Peyton left for LA to pursue a job in the record label industry, the two stayed together. That is until Lucas, overwhelmed by the separation, flew to LA and proposed. Peyton refused his proposal, saying that they were only 19 --someday, yes, but not now. Lucas leaves her in the middle of the night and ends the relationship. Due to a number of misunderstandings, unfortunately, the two never get back together. A few years later Peyton, disenchanted with her life in LA, moves back to Tree Hill, claiming that it has nothing to do with Lucas (when in reality it has EVERYTHING to do with him). Lucas, due to the misunderstandings mentioned earlier, thought Peyton was through with him as well, and moved on. This vid deals with Lucas's denial of his true feelings for Peyton as well as the hurt he still feels over her refusal of his proposal. Ryan and Marissa: For Ryan and Marissa it's a little less specific than the other couples. To put it simply, this part of the vid deals with Ryan's inability (throughout the series) to trust that Marissa a) trusts him b) loves him and c) is faithful. This vid is a little more Lucas/Peyton heavy than the others, and I apologize for that. I think I'm trying to make up for the fact that I have STILL yet to finish my Lucas/Peyton fanvid. I still feel the vid's fairly balanced, however, so hopefully you non-Leyton shippers will still enjoy it.
