Cambodians scholars, such as Pech Tum Kravel, and French archaeologist George Groslier have mentioned that Khmer classical dance is unbroken tradition dating back to the Angkor period.[6] Other scholars theorize that Khmer classical dance, as seen today, developed from, or was at least highly influenced by, Thai classical dance innovations from the 19th century and precedent forms were somewhat different. One of the earliest records of dance in Cambodia was from the 7th century, where performances were used as a funeral rite for the kings and this ritual still continues on to this day. During the Angkor period, dance was ritually performed at temples. The temple dancers came to be considered as apsaras, who served as entertainers and messengers to divinities. Ancient stone inscriptions, describe thousands of apsara dancers assigned to temples and performing for divine rite as well as the general public. The tradition of temple dancers declined during the 15th century, as the Siamese kingdom of Ayutthaya raided Angkor. When Angkor collapsed, its artisans, Brahmins, and dancers were taken to Ayutthaya. The tradition of royal court dance however, did continue. In the 19th century, then King Ang Duong, who had spent many years of his life at the Siamese court in Bangkok, restructured his royal court with Siamese innovations. This restructuring also affected classical dance of the royal court (a symbol of the king's wealth and power) whose costumes were remodeled after Thai classical dance costumes. In the early 20th, dancers of the court of King Sisowath (second son of King Ang Duong to reign) were exhibited at the French Colonial Exposition in Marseilles where they captured the heart of French artist Auguste Rodin who painted many watercolors of the dancers. Many writers had compared classical dancers to the bas-relief of apsarases which may have led to the strong affinity many people have for the two today. After World War II, Khmer classical dance underwent a renaissance brought on by former Queen of Cambodia, Kossamak Nearireath, the mother of then Prince Sihanouk. Khmer classical dance suffered a huge blow during the Khmer Rouge regime during which many dancers were killed because classical dance was thought as of an aristocratic institution. Although 90 percent of all Cambodian classical artists perished between 1975 and 1979 after the fall of the Khmer Rouge, those who did survive wandered out from hiding, found one another, and formed "colonies" in order to revive their sacred traditions. Khmer classical dance training was resurrected in the refugee camps in eastern Thailand with the few surviving Khmer dancers. Many dances and dance dramas were also recreated at the Royal University of Fine-Arts in Cambodia. The Royal Ballet of Cambodia was the main troupe of classical dancers in Cambodia before the Khmer Rouge regime, but since Cambodia has gain it's peace, a few other professional and amateur troupes have risen. Can Cambodian people find a justice for their lost families, whose souls can't comfortably rest in peace, terribly have convulsed and turned the world upside down to protect their past glory from sinking into the hot-iron grips of Thais and Yuonese who always claim themselves unshamefacedfully that they are the best-civilized people in the South East Asia by fiercely and illegally plundering, robbing, eating, gulping, conquesting, conquering, and colonizing Cambodia like this. Yuon pretended to break away from their Khmer Rouge comrade-in-arms in order to send their troops to fully take control of Cambodia in 1979:- Despite objections from the Soviet Union and from Czechoslovakia, the UN Security Council allowed Prince Sihanouk to argue the case for Democratic Kampuchea in early January 1979. Sihanouk, who had distanced himself from Khmer Rouge brutality, charged that Vietnam had committed flagrant acts of aggression against Cambodia, and he asked the council to demand an end to Hanoi's interference in Cambodian affairs. He also urged that the council not recognize the puppet regime in Phnom Penh, and he appealed to all nations to suspend aid to Vietnam. Why did Cambodia need the Khmer Rouge to convulse the world like that? Who keeps plundering and robbing Cambodia in the West and in the East like that? Who were the real murderers behind the killing fields? Does Cambodia have enough wealth/money to lodge their complaint against Thai, Yuon and Laotian land plunderers and land robbers at The Hague or in New York or in Paris? So if the Khmer Rouge didn't convulse the world, would the people in the outside world know or care about a tiny Cambodia, which is nearly being wiped out on the World Map? Even after 1991 Paris Peace Agreement with Thai, Laotian and Yuon leaders and the UN, but these leaders still ignore it and trying to grab more lands from Cambodians in a broad daylight:- Cambodia has steadily declined from its previous place of glory and power. Like any great empire, a period of decline is expected, but why did Cambodia's decline result in the rise of the Khmer Rouge and ultimately genocide in Cambodia? No scholar or expert on earth who can read Sihanouk's mind of what he really wants for his country since the war started in 1970 until today. Many of his Khmer children fiercely blame and attack his bad foreign policy having complicity with Vietcong, Chinese and Russian giant communists. In fact, he had no other choices but had to plunge himself so painfully to join his 3-Century-Old-Leech-Hereditary Foes of Yuon to fight against the American imperialists. Why did he have to join with three evil communists? Sihanouk, who feels so painfully in his heart, didn't know how to reclaim all lost lands back from Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Not only that, he had no super-powers to help him reclaiming all lost lands. Thailand and South Vietnam have super-power American imperialists. North Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, had super-power Chinese and Russian giant communists backing them in the jungle war against the American imperialists and its lackey South Vietnamese, Nguyen Van Thieu. Whereas Sihanouk is so lonely, whose life is in the hands of the three evil communists who could kidnap or kill him any time, like President Ngo Dinh Diem. And his country was secretly riddled with all Yuon secret agents and spies hiding from his toes to his head. Recently, Sihanouk gave all clear messages to the world about Vietnamese dirty plans against Khmers:- The Vietnamese, in Saigon as well as Hanoi, proceeded to slice up the country only Norodom Sihanouk's presence in power had kept intact. In the second place, Hanoi is afraid Norodom Sihanouk might be restored to power. Therefore, the Khmer Rouges were Vietnamese secret agents/spies who have secretly worn black balaclavas as Khmer Rouge who brutally killed our close relatives and parents. And this is what Khmer people like to call "Shrimps Soup of Khmer Rouge Trial". eg: when you try to scoop shrimps soup with your ladle; the appendages of shrimps, which widely scattered slowly one after the other. From each body segment of a shrimp, several long, sharp body parts reach out. The parts do different things for a shrimp. Together, however, they are called appendages. A shrimp's many appendages give it a spiky look and fell. Appendages are evenly set. Most shrimp have 19 pairs of appendages. They include two pair of whip-like antennae, or feelers, on the shrimp's head. They also include jointed legs and flattened appendages used for swimming and carrying eggs. (Shrimp by Lynn M. Stone, 2003) It means that there are too many foreigners involving in killing Cambodians since 18th Century until today. Those foreigners who are involved in killing fields will be summoned in a shameful manner to stand on trial with all Khmer Rouge leaders. Cambodia: WHO FIRST SECRETLY CREATED ANGKAR LUER? (1of6)[KH]

It is a privilege to tell you about the dirty, secret-plans and long-time dream of Hanoi. To tell the world not to misunderstand about the destruction of Cambodia a man-made disaster will be recognized as one of the great crimes of the 20th century, which was created by the mysterious regime of Angkar Leur/Cap Tren of Hanoi," whose wish is to incorporate Cambodia into their "Vietnamization" or indo-Chinese federation. It was not an act of god! It was Ho Chi Minh's greedy and ambitious wishes and dirty-secret-plan formulas. An ancestral prophecy predicts that one the unfortunate Khmer people will be forced to choose between being eaten by tigers (Khmer Rouge) or swallowed by crocodiles (Vietnamese). Today, we are seeing clearly that prophecy fulfilled in the most tragic way possible. The Kampuchean people are on the brink of extinction. Moreover, it was common knowledge that both the U.S. and Lon Nol's military staffs in Kampuchea were riddled with Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge spies. In the mid-19th century, a Thai Emperor saying: From ordinary Cambodians to the governors of the province, and from the leader of the country to the king, all of who are so bloody idiot, are always very gullible, to be easy deceived by her neighbors. At the same time, a Vietnamese Emperor saying, too: The Khmers are all super-zealous-religious believers, with whom we must play a trick to deceive and scare them off. Why Did They Secretly Use "Angkar Leur/Cap Tren" To Kill too many Million Cambodians From 1973-79? Who First Secretly Created Angkar Leur/Cap Tren? As a Cambodian ancestral saying: "A dead elephant was buried in bushel." In other words, even though Hanoi Leaders, who have been trying hard to conceal its super-dirty-secret pogrom plans against the Cambodian Victims, could not hide her hidden faces in the eyes of the public and Cambodian Victims any more. Because Hanoi Leaders could not kill all Cambodians for more than 3 years from 1975 to 1979. So when one Cambodian survivor who knows Vietnamese vicious-criminal pogrom plans will be clearly revealed to the world and all Cambodian Victims, such as Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khieu Samphan, Ta Mok, Sihanouk, Son Sann and Mrs. Yiey Tien and many other Cambodian important witnesses who will point their fingers to the Hanoi Leaders. Today, Mr Gen. Nhiek Bun Chhay and all Cambodian Victims who already have pointed their fingers to the Hanoi Leaders for killing their Khmer compatriots in Cambodia. But Yiey Tien/Tieng, the former Chairwoman of Vietminh, and American Journalist Elizabeth Becker have really dragged us-Khmer victims of the murderous Angkar Leur/Cap Tren out of the dark place to shed a brilliant light by clearly telling us that Angkar Leur/Cap Tren that was first born in Vietnam to woo the ignorant ordinary Khmer Krom and Yuon people to support Vietminh and Vietcong in order to drive the French colonialists and Yankee Imperialists out of Indochina: Angkar Leur/Cap Tren was born since August 1953. Lon Nol banned the book and jailed Ith Sarin. The regime wanted to continue fighting the foreign devils. the members of the central intelligence agency posted at the U.S. embassy in Phnom Penh doubted Ith Sarin's loyalties and considered his book "black propaganda" because, they thought, it was too flattering to the Khmer Rouge. Regret for the Khmer soul did not fit the propaganda aims of the CIA either. They were all wrong. The book was filled with precious information about the Khmer Rouge, their problems with the Vietnamese, and their approach to revolution. The life Ith Sarin described in the enemy zone was difficult and Spartan but not unpleasant. The school inspector understood immediately that Khmer communists controlled the front, and he described them as "very tough and strong in nature, enforcing their will with an "iron disciplined" while maintaining a "modest and simple" demeanor with the peasantry. "The communists worked together with the people... to serve people," Sarin wrote, helping farmers build dams, dikes, ponds and houses. He said the communists understood and exploited the peasantry's deep dissatisfaction with the corruption, arrogance, cruelty, and incompetence of the Phnom Penh government-the stiff taxes.
