I can't thank you guys enough 20 subscribers :] I'm really happy oyu guys enjoy it. ?I?ll get them,? Juliet whispered as she walked towards the other half of the counter. Nick stood in victory and pulled out his wallet. ?It?s all together,? he watched the cashier puzzled as she handed him the change. ?She slid me the money while you were staring at her,? she laughed. Nick just stared and stood in a confused state. He probably would have stayed there if Juliet didn?t call him over. ?Nick, could you bring the stuff please?? ?Huh, yeah I?m right coming just talking to Sarah.? The cashier looked at him confused at the mentioning of her name, he pointed to her name tag and turned around muffin and Izze in hand. ?You?re one tough cookie, you know that,? Nick glanced down at her she was glancing over the fashion segment of the left over paper from a previous starbuckaholic. ?I try.? She twisted the cap off of her Izze and dropped the straw in looking into the pink liquid loving what she was doing to the poor boy. He couldn?t figure her out, he tried many times but he just couldn?t so Nick sat in the chair and took a sip of his coffee, perfect. ?So what are you doing up so early,? he teasingly asked. ?You know, stuff,? she teased back. ?Is that all you?re going to tell me?? ?Yup. You know Mr. Sherlock can?t figure someone out by asking them twenty questions. Besides what are you doing up this early?? ?Just going for a walk.? ?That?s cute. So what?s the coffee?? ?A surprise, now take a sip.? Juliet looked at him, contemplating whether or not to take a sip from the cup. She put her hand on the protective cardboard of the cup and brought it to her lips. She could smell a chocolate coffee scent that was rising from the cup, it was almost relaxing. The warm liquid hit her lips and she swallowed and pulled the cup down with a smile. ?It?s pretty good Nick.? He smiled, he had met a girl who didn?t know who he was and he didn?t know what to do with himself, the morning was going well though. He glanced down at his watch and frowned. ?I have to go,? he looked back up, ?but hey, I would love to meet up later.? He tried to put on a smile. Juliet looked down not knowing what to say, she felt her phone vibrating and glanced down. Her aunt was calling, she thought to herself ?so I guess she woke up and realized that I was missing.? ?Me too,? she glanced back up at him and smiled. The two exchanged numbers and walked back to the park where they first met. ?So I guess this is goodbye? he whispered as they reached the steps of the park. ?Nope,? she whispered back. ?Then what is it?? his voiced raised slightly above his previous whisper. ?This,? she whispered into his ear, kissed his cheek, and then smiled. She couldn?t help but notice the light scarlet that began to paint his cheek. She walked in the direction of the car. She glanced back, only to meet his eyes and then continue to watch him walk towards two figures which he concluded were his brothers. Her morning was perfect, the perfect guy, the perfect date, more then everything she could ask for. Juliet walked from the car to across the street and proceeded to walk north on the Avenue of the Americas. She loved the Jonas Brothers but she realized sleeping in her Aunt?s car in New York outside of a park where a free concert was planned was beginning to push it. Starbucks. Thank God for this place. She stared at the glass first at her reflection it was decent, satin shorts that functioned as both pajamas and shorts last night, white top her brown wavy mess of hair down just reaching her stomach, silver heart locket. She smiled at that remembering when her father gave it to her, as she began to inspect the reflection of the locket she realized she didn?t have her phone and that an old man, who probably belonged on Wall Street was waiting for her to move from in front of the door. ?Crap,? she murmured under her breath, ?I am so sorry,? she was cut off by the man. ?It?s fine,? he said back his tone calm as if not minding that she was standing there. She glanced up and smiled at him, ?okay, have a nice day.? And with that Juliet turned around and headed back to the car. Walking the two block distance almost soothed her. She missed the bustle of the city, the random events, and even the obnoxious yellow taxi drivers were missed. The vehicle had not moved, nor had the people inside of it, almost as if she didn?t leave at all. She pulled the door handle reached in for her phone. Phone in hand she was ready to turn around but saw her sash lying in her seat. ?You can come on the trip too,? she whispered, ?wow I must be bored I?m talking to a scarf.? She went back to silence as she took the scarf and phone and gently closed the door. She began to cross the street when a trio of boys caught her eye. She could swear it was them, and with that came the panic. She began to open her mouth for a scream swallowed a bit and began to give herself a pep talk. ?Okay Juliet we can do this. Besides the fact that it?s five-thirty in the morning and you look like you just rolled out of bed you can do this.? It wasn?t working. She continued in a hushed tone realizing she may look a little bit off to those who were awake and functioning, ?Okay we can do this where?s the mascara,? she quickly but effectively put the mascara on, smudging it a bit to add a dramatic effect and put the cap back on. ?Alright I?m a New York girl I can, scratch that I will do this.? Juliet walked to the other side of the car to make it seem as if she was going to walk through the park. She paused and looked at her phone, not a text or missed call in sight. She glanced up to note the location of the boys; they were just a bit ahead. She also began to wonder why there were no other fans there yet. This was her chance, and it may be her only one ever. She stood up straight froofed her hair and began to walk, she walked up the stairs and straight, she was nervous but prepared, what was obsessive daydreaming for anyway. Juliet briskly walked passed the boys cutting there path and dropping her scarf, she continued to walk as if not noticing the scarf but, really amazed at how perfectly the scarf fell right in front of Nick?s feet. Even though the Tony is given to New York productions, Seattle will be well represented by Intiman Theater Artistic Director Bartlett Sher.
