West Philadelphia Springtime Snapshot
from Jimmy CraicHead TV May 03, 2008
QuickTime | Flash This was a real quick play with my brother Andrew as we took a walk to a local pub for some spirits and conversation. I live in the University City section of West Philadelphia which is a melting pot of Ivy League academics, anarchists, hippies and a growing community of Africans (Ghana, Ethiopia, Eritrea and many more). This is a video of my walk to the bar. A bit short but we were just winging it, therefore only a snapshot of the community. Jimmy CraicHead

Sports - War minus the Shooting
from Military History Podcast December 26, 2007
The title of this episode comes from the following George Orwell quote: âSerious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard for all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence: in other words it is war minus the shooting. This is meant to be a fun episode on the similarities between football, chess, and war. Please take each analogy with a grain of salt.
