Our 50th show. We started with a live broadcast of an address by President Bush regarding America's future in Iraq. After the speech, we took calls and discussed troop increases in Iraq, Iraqi internal violence, Iraqi oil revenues, the naming of General Petraeus to replace General Casey to command Middle East operations, General Abizaid's replacement by Admiral Fallon to oversee the U.S. Central Command, and President Bush's nomination of Zalmay Khalilzad as the next U.N. ambassador. We spoke with 5 callers and the show lasted around 3 hours.
