This video show how to resize pictures on the Mac. This tutorial uses iPhoto and Resize from KStudio. Resize is a free program that does batch file conversions of pictures (folders of pictures). Resize can be downloaded for free at KStudio.net and works with Windows, Mac X and Mac Classic (OS 9). The nice thing about Resize is that it leaves the original folders and files alone while making a new folder for the converted photos.

Q&A: How To Get Rid Of iPhoto Duplicates?

Q&A: How To Get Rid Of iPhoto Duplicates?

from me on blip.tv (beta) on June 13, 2009

In this video, I answer a question from @WizzKid - http://twitter.com/WizzKid - who asks "Hey bwana, was wondering if you know how to get rid of duplicate images in iPhoto?" Thanks for the question, WizzKid. I didn't know how to do this offhand, so I researched a bit and found a lot of recommendations for a particular software package. It's called Duplicate Annihilator and it does exactly what you asked for. Unfortunately, it's not free and costs $7.95, but that seems like a small price to pay to do such a tiring task. It can be found here: http://u.nu/8yhb Thanks for the question WizzKid!

http://live.besttechie.net - Macworld 2009 wasn't too bad all things considered. However, it wasn't anything spectacular. The new iLife '09 and Macbook Pro 17" look pretty awesome. iWork '09 looks good too, definitely gearing more towards businesses. What are you thoughts?
