From : MIT Physics Lecture Demonstrations<br />A solenoid enclosed in another solenoid is connected to a 12 volt battery. Also contained in the circuit is an iron contact switch connected to a spring arm, with a gap on one side of it. When the circuit is closed, the inner solenoid attracts the iron switch across the small gap. This breaks the circuit, making the switch move back to its original position, which closes the circuit again. Thus, the switch moves back and forth quickly, causing oscillations of high voltage in the outer solenoid. This high voltage causes sparks to jump the large gap between the ends of the outer solenoid. These sparks cause electromagnetic radiation, which is how telegraphs were originally transmitted wirelessly. Morse code can be transmitted by opening and closing the power source. This specific transmitter was made by the Marconi company, and is very much like the telegraph machine that would have been used on the Titanic. Read more about spark gap transmitters here.

From : Metacafe - Today's Videos by Metacafe<br />Hey everyone! My name is Parker. I live in Corona del Mar, California and I am a die hard entrepreneur. Work from home on a part time basis and wouldn't have it any other way. My current project is the one I am most excited about and heres why... Enagic is a 33 year old Japanese company that did pulled in about $220,000,000 last year. They produce a machine that creates Kangen water. It is ionized, alkalized, and micro-clustered water. This counter top unit connects right to your tap. The most amazing thing about this water is once people start drinking this water they start to see dramatic changes in their health. From the foods we eat to the liquids we drink (yes bottled water) its all very acidic. When your body is acidic, it cant function properly. Acid reflux, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, tumors, cancer, and disease. I know your thinking to yourself that it sounds way too intense, but if you break everything down to a molecular level, you can see how high acid levels could do that. Dr. Otto Warburg, 1931, received the Nobel Peace Prize for discovering that cancer cells cannot survive in an alkaline environment, yet they thrive in an acidic environment. Our body's ph level is slightly alkaline at 7.365ph. Ionization separates the water into 2 parts, 1 alkaline and the other acidic. Micro clustering is great because it allows the water to hydrate ALL of your cells. The molecules in the water we are used to drinking has about 15 molecules clumped together. The process my water goes through reduces the cluster to about 5-6 molecules. Think of trying to fin a cluster of grapes into your mouth. It would be easier to eat a cluster of 5 than 15. Same thing happens with cells. if the water molecule cant fit in the opening of a cell, it cant be hydrated. So, thats that. go ahead and check out my videos i have posted. http://www.kangencare.com http://www.myspace.com/kangencare http://kangencare.com/compensation.html
