Today I made 22 Pips or $220 on a trade with the AUD/JPY Currency Pair. The trade did not take too long to realize a profit and we were able to get out before the rollover time where we would have had to pay an interest swap.

On this trade I made 18 Pips for a total $538.92. I jumped the gun a bit and got out earlier then I should have. It was a Friday, it was getting late, and I wanted to get out to dinner early. I was just not as focused as I should have been. Not long after getting out of my position price rallied in the direction of my trade 20 pips. While I did leave some potential profit on the table, I have found that it is better not to be greedy and take a smaller profit then a larger loss. I will be back at it next week so no worries there is plenty of money in the market for me to get another time. I will take $538.92 in profit every time over even a $1 loss.

I made a hedged trade today on the EUR/USD currency pair. I was able to get 60 Pips Long, which was a $1200 profit at 2 lots. The Short trade ended up -42 Pips for a $840 Loss. So the net result was a $360 Profit. The great thing about the Hedging Strategy from the Simple Forex Trading Course is that it really reduces risk. You also do not have to worry which way prices goes when you first enter a trade. This reduces stress and makes trading the market a so much easier!
