The most influential prog show on the internet?
from InterstellarOverdrive September 06, 2006
OK, it's a stretch, you had to be in chat I guess. We do, however, always try to remain on the burning edge of the modern prog scene, and tonight is no exception. "Play Again" is the new album from French proggers The Black Noodle Project, and this is one band that Pink Floyd fans absolutely must check out. One listen and you'll see why. Interstellar Indeed!
from InterstellarOverdrive September 06, 2006
What a fun show tonight. Very trippy and atmospheric as we featured the new "chimpan A" album from Rob Reed and company. We also heard from Annie Haslam with Magenta, and a slew of other tracks to maintain the groove. This is a very mellow, laid-back show, so enjoy. However, it didn't end there. We were having such a great time in chat that we ended up going for another 90 minutes or so. So, here's what you'll hear on the podcast; and for those who weren't there live, here's what you missed: Antimatter - In Stone Alan Parsons - Return To Tunguska Pink Floyd - Welcome To The Machine (Trance Mix) Portishead - Glory Box Marillion - House chimpan A - Theme From chimpan A Part 1 chimpan A - It's Only Sin chimpan A - You Move In Me chimpan A - Future 1 chimpan A - The Secret Wish Rob Reed - Essence Of Love Annie Haslam with Magenta - Night And Day (Duet) Porcupine Tree - No Reason To Live, No Reason To Die Parry:Matthews - Let It Hurt chimpan A - Sam's Song chimpan A - Future Love Game chimpan A - Last Night On Earth chimpan A - The Thief Tinyfish - Fly Like A Bird Tori Amos - Northern Lad White Willow - The Dark Road chimpan A - Are You With Me? chimpan A - I Came To Say... chimpan A - Theme From chimpan A Part 2 Darwin's Radio - The Vast Within Ghost Circus - Trick Of The Light END PODCAST Frost - Hyperventilate Retroheads - Taking My Time Xinema - Life The Way I Knew It Metamorphosis - Beyond The Wall Tony Ebert (with Gary Sauer) - Can't Drive Blind Pure Reason Revolution - The Bright Ambassadors Of Morning Lana Lane - Seasons End (Live) Brother Ape - Beams Anathema - A Simple Mistake GreyLevel - Blue Waves White Willow - The Lingering Phideaux - Abducted White Willow - Joyride My best wishes to the band White Willow as they unleash the single "Joyride" on Norwegian radio. Good luck from all of us at progrock.com and Interstellar Overdrive! One of theses day's I'll get my CalProg 2006 page done. My pictures aren't that great, but what the hey!
