Podcast 40 Going Global, Going Public
from Ideas and Thoughts from an EdTech » Podcasting July 18, 2008
I tried to record the audio from my presentation last week but I must have messed something up. It s likely for the best since I was able to condense a 50 minute presentation down to about 18 minutes. After removing the videos, discussion and excessive rambling, this is what you re left with; the slidecast below as well as the mp3 for the podcast portion. | View | Upload your own Links: Nokomis What s in a Name Digizen Cyberbullying video

Podcast180: Conversations about Digital Social Networking and Internet Safety
from Moving at the Speed of Creativity Podcasts August 16, 2007
This podcast includes participant responses during several phases of an all-day workshop I shared today with educators working for Operation Aware in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our topics included Internet safety, cyberbullying prevention, and safe digital social networking. The first question teachers responded to (in groups) was: What are the top behaviors that put students at risk or in danger online? The second question teachers responded to was: What messages about social networking do all our parents and administrators need to understand? I included some additional personal reflections and summative ideas about the workshop experience and the themes we discussed at the end of the podcast as well.
