Buzz Out Loud 720: Lovin' Out Loud
from Buzz Out Loud from CNET May 08, 2008
Announcing the launch of our new dating podcast, Lovin' Out Loud! Also, Microsoft may or may not build content filtering into the Zune, by which we mean "probably will." Also, should judges decide the intent of technology in awarding boffo-sized judgments against P2P search engines? And on that note, we're off to order some pizza online.

Universal Access to all Knowledge 2004
from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) April 26, 2008
Brewster Kahle's talk at the Distinguished Speaker Series of SD Forum on December 16, 2004.Advances in computing and communications mean that we can cost-effectively store every book, sound recording, movie, software package, and public web page ever created, and provide access to these collections via the Internet to students and adults all over the world. By mostly using existing institutions and funding sources, we can build this as well as compensate authors within what is the current worldwide library budget. The talk offers an update on the current (as of December 2004) state of progress towards that ideal, which would allow us to bequeath an accessible record of our cultural heritage to our descendants. This Video is in the Public Domain, for more informations please visit: http://www.archive.org/details/SDForumBK

New and Improved
from Zona 4 Producciones April 07, 2008
Ok, most of you are going to watch this video and go "what was that?" The short answer is it's a video. ;) The long answer is, I'm not sure myself. For some time know I have been thinking of switching from Blogger to Wordpress. Well recently I decieded to finally do it, there are a number of reasons why. I will go into more detail once the change has taken place. It's been a journey let me tell you!Now to the video itself. I wanted to do something fun and different to talk about the changes happening not just to my site but myself as well. But when I made my first draft of the video I felt something was missing and that is how I ended up with the video you have just seen or are getting ready to see. I think you will agree....It's different and yet all me.....For those of you who subscribe do not worry nothing should change for you! At least how you are getting my feed anyway.

The End is Near
from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) March 16, 2008
For more information about this video go here. I gotta say I think this is one of my bests. This goes back to some other videos my buddy and I did. We started talking about all this last Aug on our way home from Wizard World Chicago. It's an idea that would not die, (that's funny when you think about it) anyway I hope you all like it. And how cool is this, except for the pics all footage is from the internet archive. The Internet Archive, it's for all of us!

Boss Up Remix- Joe Black
from Kingpin/Ronin December 04, 2007
This is a track I remixed a while ago. I never really linked to it at all, but its been up for a while. I did it as a favor for Joe Black, a producer out of San Jose, and his MC crew. I was trying to get an old-school, mid-nineties, Bay Area sound to it. It was mostly an experiment in the technique, as I dont normally do 'thugsta'-type music. But, I think it turned out OK. Now as for the lyrics, well, Joe Black was the original producer, and had just emailed me the a capellas. All I know is the last MC was like, 13 years old, talkin about dissing So-So Def and Lil Bow Wow. It cracked me up. This was my first submission to the Internet Archive, before I did the whole Dubstep radio archive. This was my initial experiment with the creative commons audio setup. Any comments, good or bad, will be appreciated... http://www.archive.org/download/Boss_Up/track10_Rendered_vbr.mp3 Subscribe to kingpinronin by Email

Action Figure News!
from Heath aka The Batman Geek November 01, 2007
Quicktime/Ipod Windows Flash It's day one of that thing we are doing where we are doing a vlog a day for the month of November, it's called NaVloPoMo and here is my day one entry. I don't expect that they will all be this good (which is subjective I know but, heh) Anyway, this goes along with my "experimenting" theme I am on and int this video I try a new twist. The effect needs a bit of work but overall I am happy with it. And as far as the subject matter, all I can say is at least I know I am being over the top and stupid, what's the excuse for the MSM?! Have fun and Vlog On! Technorati tags vlog NaVloPoMo video Batman Geek Experiment internet archive navlopomo07
