Astronauts on the International Space Station took some time off to observe internet video of the recent student uprising at the University of California at Berkeley. Students occupied Wheeler Hall and shut down the Doe Library on Friday November 20, 2009 as part of an ongoing student - worker strike protesting a 32% hike in tuition fees, the layoff of 900 employees, loss of minority owned businesses on campus and affordable student housing.
