DaveTV Live from the streets of Austin, Texas! : SHE CRAVES Live at INSite Magazine show, The Parish, Austin Tx. 9/21/07
from Operator11 - Your Social TV Network September 22, 2007
http://www.myspace.com/shecraves She Craves stormed on to the Austin, TX music scene in early 2007 with an almost sold-out show at historic Stubb's BBQ. Six months and countless shows in Texas and surrounding states later, the band is firing on all cylinders and poised to leave their mark on the music world with the release of their debut album, "Goodbye Radio Days". The sound of She Craves is a difficult one to describe, but not difficult at all to understand once you've heard them; anthemic choruses and smartly crafted hooks are hallmarks of the band's sound, as are live shows that teeter on the edge of control as the band churns through their set with unrelenting energy and force. She Craves is fronted by Christine Ely who exudes a rarely seen blend of intensity, charm and sincerity. Part pit bull, part Jimmy Page, guitarist Matt Cole crafts the most melodic and tasteful parts imaginable, drenches them with attitude and cranks them to ten. Drummer Ben Mills hits with the sonic force of a wrecking ball all the while bassist Tim Brown lays down the low end as he leaps from amplifiers and kick drums of all sizes. Rock and roll is new again. Rock and roll is exciting again. Rock and roll is dangerous again. She Craves is rock and roll. DaveTV : TUNGSTEN COIL Live at INSite Magazine show, The Parish, Austin Tx. 9/21/07
from Operator11 - Your Social TV Network September 21, 2007
http://www.tungstencoil.com/ Tungsten Coil "A Musical Revolution" Formed in the late 90’s, Tungsten Coil began exploring and creating electronic/industrial music influneced by the likes of Depeche Mode, NIN, and Skinny Puppy. Their first CD “Reactive” pleased the hard-core rivet heads as well as those with an interest in the more tender side of industrial music. After promoting Reactive and playing all over the country together as a band, some of the members decided to pursue other interests. In late 2005, Tungsten Coil was reconstructed. With the addition of four new members, the band found itself with a more diverse musical pool of influences to draw from. Taking from all these influences, the new incarnation of Tungsten Coil strives to meld the sounds of modern electronic and industrial music with the more dynamic and emotional sounds of a traditional driving rock band, to create an eclectic sound that feeds the listeners craving for something different. In addition to a fresh approach to music, Tungsten Coil also aims to bring back what has been missing from the live performances of todays music; A spectacular "Rock Show" - lights, fog, visuals and all the things that make a live performance memorable. The five members of Tungsten Coil are as hard working as the element itself, applying their energy towards their attention to detail among the music, the show, and promotions. Tungsten Coil's diverse, yet addictive, music, along with their intense and high energy stage shows, have contributed to their immediate success. The fast-building buzz in Austin helped land them their first SXSW showcase only 5 months after their first show. The band also took 4th place as "Best Industrial Band" in the recent 2007 Austin Music Awards, with votes due only 3 months after their debut. Their song "Time" has been getting frequent radio play and gaining popularity among their shows; but their best music is yet to be recorded. For listeners that are hungry for something fresh and unique, Tungsten Coil delivers! Experience Tungsten Coil, and experience a Musical Revolution!.
