SINOPSIS: Conner McLeod es un guerrero escocés herido de muerte durante su primera batalla. Recuperado milagrosamente y echado por brujo de su clan, cinco años después un español, Juan Ramírez Sánchez Villalobos, aparece para decirle el secreto de su curación: él es un inmortal, una raza de seres que perviven a lo largo de las eras enfrentándose entre sí hasta que solo quede uno. COMENTARIO: Película fantástica dirigida en 1985 por Russell Mulcahy, que también dirigió "La Sombra Del Faraón" y "Resurrección", ambas en 1999. Supuso el lanzamiento internacional para su protagonista, el francés Christopher Lambert, para siempre asociado a McLeod. También fue el primer gran papel para Clancy Brown, que luego desarrollaría una carrera como secundario de lujo en series como "Urgencias" o películas como "Starship Troopers". Roxanne Hart sería famosa en los años noventa como Camille Hart, la jefa de enfermeras de la serie "Chicago Hope", y Sean Connery encontró su consagración más allá de James Bond, logrando éxitos posteriores como "Los Intocables De Elliot Ness" o "Indiana Jones Y La Última Cruzada". TRIVIALIDADES: El atuendo de Kurgan imita al que Mel Gibson llevaba en "Mad Max 2, El Guerrero de la Carretera" (1981), y cuando éste acude al motel firma como Victor Kruger, apellido famoso gracias a "Pesadilla En Elm Street", estrenada un par de años antes; todas las canciones de la película fueron compuestas por el grupo de rock Queen, cuyo videoclip principal "Princes Of The Universe" incluía un duelo entre Lambert y Freddie Mercury, el primero llevando una espada y el segundo un micrófono. Es una de las películas más influyentes de la década de los 80, cuya estética de la MTV fue luego copiada por muchas otras.
