Its good to have John Romita Jr back on the art but I was really getting into Phil Jimenez. I hope he comes back after a while. I just really dig the reality and fluidity of his style. Dude Norman Osborn is busy this week getting sinister in the Moonknight title and showing up back in the web slingers world. It will be interesting to see what hes got in store for Spidey and it the Goblin is really back. The choice that the artist made to represent Amazo was really cool. How his costume changes depending on whose power he is using at the time. I just wonder where the fishnets were when he was casting magic. Speaking of magic Zatanna really showed her stuff during this fight and demonstrated what a valuable member of the team she really is. The end is a little cheesy when everyone is back together and happy again and Batman gets stuck with the clean up duty resulting in a hearty chuckle but I really liked this story arch and the action that it brought. Unless there are some crazy light weeks ahead I dont think Ill continue with the next arch. That is the great thing about this title and what theyve done lately is that you ...

This month his book takes off in a new direction as he gets the Thunderbolts sent after him. If you havent been reading the title dont worry the handy dandy summary conveniently placed at the beginning of each book will get you caught up to where you need to be. There is some good action here but this issue is mostly a set up of whats to come. As a dark character going up against even darker men, there aught to be some really good action and story to follow. Im curious as to what Tony Starks involvement will be because while he is hunting Moonknight, he doesnt agree with the Thunderbolts being sent in. Norman Osborn is also intriguing. In the last Secret Invasion title he seemed to be showing some of his ...

I mean it, I got home and looked in my bag and couldnt remember how this got in here. Well, it was fate because this issue was awesome. I got caught up with the summary, so if youre afraid of jumping in dont be theres plenty of info in there, and took right to the story. The action was great, and I love the new suits the team has. This is a really well done book that keeps you excited and actually inspires a little cheer at the end with the image that we are let with. This is a really fun book to read and a shame to miss out on. Im so glad it crawled into my stack and I got to enjoy it. Go check it out and maybe even go look for the back issues, I know I will. How hes brought into the story is really funny, with him going to the Superman museum and a hologram Jimmy Olsen telling him how insignificant he was. We know thats what really gets him riled up so the results arent that surprising. The parallel between Superman and his effect on the members of the Legion of Superheroes and Superboy Prime and how he inspired the Legion of Villains is really interesting. It provides the perfect home for Superboy Prime. He finally has people that acknowledge and revere him for his beliefs and want to follow him. On the flip side the legion provides the perfect object for his hatred loving everything he despises. The real payoff happens at the end of the book when the three different versions of the Legion ...

This is one of the spin off minis, and while Im usually not into the extras I got this one because we rarely get to see the Inhumans in a featured role and they are an interesting people. The method of story telling in this book is fantastic. By focusing on Karnak, whose ability it is to sense weakness, it also showcases the strength of the Inhumans. Their greatest strength is their family and the faltering of that bond is their greatest weakness. This of course plays right into the Skrulls attack which is to create mistrust and doubt so their attack strikes deep when they find that the greatest of all, Blackbolt was a Skrull. At the end of this issue all hell brakes loose as the Skrulls reveal themselves in a full on frontal assault so you know there is some great action to come. The fate of Blackbolt ...

Maria Hill has finally struck back and taken a few Skrulls down before going off to join the resistance, but the real excitement is in the savage land when Reed Richards lands with his new toy that reveals the Skrulls for what they are. With that in earths arsenal theres no holding back. The mistrust and doubt will be gone and the heroes will be free in knowing exactly who the enemy is. We get to see a bit of just how bad this ...

They are spaced out adequately enough that it is not a major inconvenience to our weekly comic budget and they are all very relevant to the main title. This is the title that follows the mystic side of the event and focuses on the Specter and the Question. Im not usually into that side of things but this story raised some questions that I am definitely interested in finding the answer to. The first and foremost is why didnt the Specters powers have any effect over Libra? Then, why is the Specter going after the Question? He seams to rally have turned around and trying to make it work but I wonder what Mr. Negative has in store for him after curing him of the disease and how Eddie will fare against what ever he has in store for him. Here s the real question that this issue brings up. Ok so after fighting Menace, a goblin like bad guy, Pete gets some exclusive pics and for advice on how to sell them he calls his rehabilitated good friend Harry Osborne. Nothing strange in that, what is strange is where he was when he answered the phone. He was on a rooftop and with one glove off it looked like he hadn t been there long and right after Pete had just fought Menace. Coincidence, I think not.
