GDI Infotech Creates 121 Jobs in Ann Arbor County

Amidst the nations struggle with unemployment, the Ann Arbor community in Michigan can expect to hear some good news when it comes to job search because information technology consulting service agency, GDI Infotech, will be creating 121 jobs over the next five years. GDI Infotech applied for a high tech tax credit from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Michigan Economic Growth Authority board, and once approved they plan to invest $1.9 million dollars in a physical expansion for their new operation entitled, the Solutions Division. The company says that the tax credit will help them restructure its office into a solutions and product division. The creation of new jobs will come from the health care, education, technology, and retail sectors and is expected to pay workers an average salary of $61,672. GDI assists businesses integrate information stored in “silos,” or disconnected computer technology systems.
