The news was a little better for Skype, which detached from its eBay owners and netted a $2.75 billion valuation. In the LA Times yesterday, an article by Ben Fritz mentioned possible future plans for the Call of Duty series. According to one person close to the company [Activision] is considering adapting Call of Duty into a massively multiplayer online world. Additionally, Activision has a third development studio working on a future Call of Duty. While we could only guess and speculate on the nature of any Call of Duty MMO, Activision has the help of the greatest MMO developer out there- Blizzard. If Activision decides to head in that direction, we re sure Blizzard can guide them.
