"If you were dedicate the rest of your life to easing suffering on the earth - now and in to the future - what would you do?" "I am a musical slut: I will play ANY INSTRUMENT, in ANY STYLE, with ANY one for ANY amount of money (to go completely to charity)" Please check out: Another song idea demo that I recorded by myself in my basement on a Tascam 423 4 track cassette deck: I probably did the rhythm guitar first, then the drums (no click tracks on any of these), then KEYBOARD bass (I didn't have access to a bass at the time), then I sang onto tape and recorded a fifth track: LIVE lead guitar and just "took" the best version. The guitar is probably my first electric - my Gretsch: two humbuckers, hard tail - into some distortion - either an MXR distortion (got stolen) or my friends Tube Screamer into my first amp: 1978 Fender Super Twin Reverb. The drumset was an old, beat up, red flame Ludwig set that we bought with money collected from basement/band party cover charge! Date Created 1985 Lyrics You don't even know me but I know know you from my dreams You keep on haunting me with those tight blue jeans Ever time you walk by me I have to hold my breath cause I just can't see I'm HOT 4 U and you're makin' me sing I'm HOT 4 U and your lovin' sweet thing I'm HOT 4 U don't even know why I'm HOT 4 U and your makin' me cry I've been HOT 4 U so long, HOT 4 U so long, HOT 4 U so long and I can't go wrong...no I can't... Every time I think of you my blood begins to boil I would do anything just let me know my toil Every time I see your face I cry God, I don't even know why I'm HOT 4 U and you're makin' me sing I'm HOT 4 U and your lovin' sweet thing I'm HOT 4 U and you're makin' me sweat I'm HOT 4 U ain't gonna never regret I've been HOT 4 U so long, HOT 4 U so long, Hot 4U so long... am I comin' on to strong? Yeah! Solo (the whole song is a guitar solo...but...) I only have one message I've got to get to you I have one message 4 U but I hope it makes it through Girl you are my only desire You are the filler of my pyre I'm HOT 4 U and you're makin' me sing I'm HOT 4 U and your lovin' sweet thing I'm HOT 4 U don't even know why I'm HOT 4 U and your makin' me cry I've been HOT 4 U so long, HOT 4 U so long, HOT 4 U so long... am I comin' on too strong? The James Graff You Tube Page/Channel (graffjamie): OVER 90 VIDEOS!! LIVE and MTV STYLE, COVER AND ORIGINAL, MUSIC VIDEOS!! Go to http://www.youtube.com and search for "graffjamie" or click any where you read "graffjamie" James Graff's Official Website http://www.jamesgraff.com Thanks! I started on piano at three and have now taught myself - with plenty of help and an extensive, music library - to sing and play ALL musical instruments - strings (plucked and bowed), woodwinds, brass, percussion, etc. - and know well over 400 pieces in EVERY style: 100 Originals, Baroque, Classical, Jazz, Ragtime, Blues, Country, Soul, Pop, Rock, Funk, Ska, Reggae, Disco, Hard Rock, Metal, Punk, etc. I just finished touring Europe opening for the WASP WORLD DOMINATOR TOUR. "I am a musical slut: I will play ANY INSTRUMENT, in ANY STYLE, with ANY one for ANY amount of money - to go completely to charity!!" ALL INSTRUMENTS! BAROQUE, CLASSICAL, ROMANTIC, RAGTIME, STRIDE, DIXIELAND, SWING, BEBOP, BLUEGRASS, FOLK, COUNTRY, BLUES, ROCK, METAL, REGGAE, DISCO, FUNK, POP AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! I have sang and played in front of tens of thousands of people in bands with memebers from: Marilyn Manson ("Sweet Dreams", "the Beautiful People") The Frank Sinatra Orchestra ("My Way", "New York, NY"...) Extreme ("More Than Words", "Get the Funk Out") Creed ("Higher", "One") Steve Vai ("Bad Horsie") Steve Morse Band ("Tumeni Notes") The Classics IV ("Spooky", "Stormy", "Traces of Love") The Platters ("Only You") Expose ("Seasons Change") Jeff Scott Soto (Singer for Journey, Foreigner) Bertie Higgins ("Sailing Away to Key Largo"...) and MANY more... Opening up for: Marilyn Manson, The Beach Boys, The Romantics, Jefferson Starship, Modern English, Quiet Riot, The Guess Who, Ted Nugent, Mountain, Molly Hatchet, Richie Havens, Ace Freely, Wasp, Dave Barry, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Steinhardt Moon Project (Kansas), Marty Balin (Jefferson Starship), Melanie, Arlo Guthrie, Kathleen Madigan, Saigon Kick, and MANY, MANY more... I write, sing, produce, and perform. Here is how it all started: I have been playing keys since I was 3 years old, woodwinds since I was 8 (they showed my a bunch of instruments and I picked the badest, coolest one: the long ALL BLACK one with SILVER METAL on it - a CLARINET!!! - and I ended up getting out of class to study music in a room full of "chicks" - I was the only boy!!! BONUS!!! - and all that clarinet study led to the later discovery of my ability to play the Sexyphone ...and flute (Jethro Tull!!)...so...). I started to play guitar at about 10 when my brother threw his new acoustic guitar down saying - as he did of eveything: "This SUCKS!!" (Later he and my other brother got jealous - i.e. fed up with my incessant practicing they ended up smashing the guitar to itty, bitty pieces - with a loud: "El Kabong!!!") Now I play: lead/slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, 6 string electric violin/viola/cello, flute, clarinet, alto and tenor sax, blues harp, bass, drums/percussion, charanga, etc. HISTORY: I have: ==== PLAYED TO OVER 5000 PEOPLE AT: MIAMI AMPHITHEATRE, THE DAVIE ARENA, THE WEST PALM BEACH AUDITORIUM, HURRICANE ANDREW RELIEF CONCERT, THE LYRIC THEATRE, LITTLE WOODSTOCK II, HOLIDAY ISLE TIKI BAR, BAR ANTICIPATION, THE BUTTON SOUTH, etc----- PLAYED WITH: -----MOTOR Voted Best Hard Rock Band and Nominated for Best Cover Band in Florida (Population 16 million) by XS Magazine Readers, CD ?Screaming Bloody Motor?
