This is a talk I did in Washington DC at the AR2008 Conference. I try my best to paint the big picture and at the same time offer concrete solutions as well as why we need to attack the problem from a new angle. Children deserve the truth and are the key to change. Would you rather try to convince an adult to become vegan after their minds are molded? I prefer prevention and early intervention by engaging children about the real world while they still care enough to change. They are not brainwashed yet. Best of all it is all good and they say thank you – much the same as who ever gave you your heads up is always high in appreciation. I feel bad when I am silent. I feel good when I speak the truth. Warwak says there was nothing inappropriate about distributing information on veganism. He thinks it is inappropriate for the school to serve children recalled beef. Warwak says that with all the school shootings that happened and the climate of schools today, something has to change. He believes Humane Education is what's needed – that is what is missing in schools today. I pledge allegiance to the flag. Today I read that again someone is sueing in the supreme court about the constitutionality of the Pledge in the public schools. I don't have a problem with the under God part but the part about "to the republic for which it stands", I wonder about that. What exacty does it stand for?

One day, a snowy day I had this revelation of thought, I wasn't paying attention because I had so much on my mind and I crashed into the car in front of me. I get out of the car and I say to this old man "Im so sorry" and this old man says to me "Don't Be in Such A Hurry, I'm Worried About You - Slow Down, Don't Be in Such a Rush!".
