Members of the group strive to find out why they were created and realize they must rise above the limitations imposed on them in order to reverse the effects of a scientific experiment gone horribly wrong.

Shot it in 2 weeks plus a few pickup days for $1150(actual budget was $400, but got bumped up by an unexpected insurance cost). Shot it pretty well solo*... tried my best Robert Rodriguez impersonation and did the whole thing myself other than the music.(*My friend Ian helped out on certain days). Have a 70min feature version and a 30min short version.

Hurley and Nick Marcoux turned thier cameras on the under belly of "The Renaissance City" Providence, RI. Watch the drama unfold in asian massage parlors as Mayor David Cicilline of the City of Providence pushes to close the prostitution "loophole". Follow "Heather", a Korean immigrant, over two years as she manages a massage parlor. Learn about the women who work in the spas. Hear from the police who arrest them. Watch the fight for and against legislation. The film includes subtitled interviews with Korean women who work in the spas, clients who frequent the spas, Police, Politicians from 1980 and today, local news footage, local radio call in shows, and voiced reviews from internet escort review boards. This film experiments with both the narrative and documentary style of film creating a new style of cinema verite.

There’s a certain risk – some might call it insanity – to producing true indie films. They’re costly, especially relative to the return on investment, time, and aggravation. But still they get made. Scott Miles made his. It’s called Little Chicago, and it's about a young man who returns home after college hoping his dad will stake him the money to get into the bar and restaurant business. Of course, if his dad were to do that, this would be a short, not a full-length motion picture. Miles wrote, produced, and starred in Little Chicago. But if you haven’t seen Little Chicago, maybe you know him from some of his other film roles, including Remember the Titans, The Patriot, or October Sky. On television, he was in episodes of “NCIS” and “Star Trek Voyager.” I think you'll find what he has to say about producing indie films quite interesting. This "raw" depiction of what happens when the public services that we all take for granted violently turn against us is a frightful masterpiece shot using state-of-the-art handheld cinematography. Garbage Man takes you through the bowels of society, the dumpsters of humanity and the landfill of death and terror. Inspired by the true stories of Oscar the Grouch in the years that followed his success on the popular children's show, "Sesame Street."

THE FISH WHO ATE FLESH: Release Date: June 1992 : Rated R A classic horror film about a young osteichthye-loving couple on a journey through the Amazon to work at a medical clinic with the indigenous tribes deep in the rain forest. When they arrive, they are soon to find out that the tribal leaders are sacrificing members to man eating piranha as the answer to wide spread Candidiasis plaguing the region. This 1992 Harry Penderecki Classic has stood the test of time among contemporary horror films and fans.

THE MUMMY S DADDY: Release Date: June 1990 : Rated R Shortly after his portrayal of Dr. Henry Jones Sr. in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", Sean Connery starred in another archeology-inspired role that takes him in search of the mummified remains of the Mummy's Daddy. With this horror adventure, Penderecki proved that when he sets out to scare the wits out of his audience, not even an Egyptian Princess can stop him. "The Mummy's Daddy" was banned in Uruguay for its depiction of the mutilation of grass-fed beef, but sold hundreds of units in the South American country's black market nonetheless.

UNTRAINED SURGEON: Release Date: October 1996 : Rated R Master of the horror, Harry Penderecki, financed this landmark horror film, his first, with his parent s American Express card. When he was turned away by every major distribution house in the industry, the industrious Penderecki took it upon himself to start his own film company, LMB Productions and self- promote and market the film at Fangoria. Finally released in 1985, this low-budget horror classic helped redefine the genre with its homemade special effects, blood curdling suspense and brilliant screenplay. Featuring a cameo by Michael Keaton, a childhood friend of Penderecki, "The Untrained Surgeon" has become a favorite of aspiring medical students and psychopaths alike.
