Caryn, a joyous and loving collaborator in the Bridging International Healing Art Project, writes books, facilitates workshops and creates art that encourages humankind to "remember what you are" while becoming more guardian-like in our treatment of others and our planet home. In 1991, after almost ten years as a corporate tax consultant and CPA, Caryn began her present career as an international speaker and workshop facilitator. She is also the author of Ancient Pact, Volume 1: The Element of Air and the related ReMember: Deck One Spiritual Contemplation Cards. Caryn resides in Reno, Nevada where she is an active volunteer for Conscious Community Campaign and Soroptimist International. She currently writes full-time, delivers occasional workshops, and speaks on her latest topics, Lessons of the Ancient Council and Accelerating Karma. Her goal is to accelerate karma globally, reunite the ancient tribe of guardians, and renew the pact: "Our mission is to be guardians of all life and to never do harm unless necessary for survival." Finances can be a major concern for families with disabled children. It costs almost £7,000 a year more to raise a disabled child due to direct costs such as special aids and adaptations, transport, heating and childcare. With rising living costs affecting all families, Contact a Family wants to find out the effects of families caring for children with disabilities, serious health conditions or rare conditions. In this podcast, Louise Derbyshire (Family Linking Officer for Contact a Family) speaks with a number of parents who are raising disabled children to get an insight into how these additional costs impact on their families. While supported by his congregation in New Hampshire the election has caused controversy and struggle in the Anglican Church worldwide. Robinson visited the Center and discussed his recent book, In the Eye of the Storm. He talked about his civil union with his partner for 21 years, Mark Andrew, and his ongoing effort to encourage LGBT inclusion in the church.
