This is the fourth of four soundscapes taken at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's new Eli Broad collection. Broad has two massive Serra "Spheres" on the ground floor on the West and End of the building.Broad insisted as part of his "loan" of the collection to the museum that the security guards enforce his "copyright" policiy, which is no one can take any photo anywhere and can not share them in any way with any friend, family or foe. As part of my larger soundscape project about "walled gardens" in Los Angeles, how both our public spaces and digital space are enclosed by various, complex rules, regulation, copyright exploitation and technologies, I said screw it, and took a bunch of photos including the final one where the guard told me to leave.
