Spineless Vermin!
from YouTube :: Tag // RickRoll August 20, 2008
The Beauty in the universe channel was started to share my experiences of the beauty of America with those who had an interest in such things. The channel was never that popular with vids typically getting only 100 or so ratings and 1k views. However now those spineless creationist vermin have targeted this channel, specifically the Grand Canyon (explained) video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9IDeNyuGh8 Strategically of course this is a sound course of action, target the vulnerable where you can have an effect. Morally of course its reprehensible and its sickening to see someone abusing a voting system simply to sabotage someone making videos they don't like. It is always ironic that those who most boast about their morals and principals are those who are those most willing to jettison them whenever convenient. In protest of their despicable behavior I have rehosted the targeted video on the Thunderf00t channel. Theism is not inherently a mind disorder.
from YouTube :: Videos by melsbasketcase September 19, 2007
response to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ_VQdPa5sc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delusion In the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a delusion is defined as: A false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everybody else believes and despite what constitutes incontrovertible and obvious proof or evidence to the contrary. The belief is not one ordinarily accepted by other members of the person's culture or subculture (e.g., it is not an article of religious faith). Th ike Nesm age Machi - Now with 60% more stuttering!
from The Spike Nesmith Rage Machine March 16, 2007
OK, so… long story short; technical difficulties. Long story slightly less short, my awesome USB soundcard isn’t quite so awesome. It’s so not-quite-so-awesome that it stutters all over the place. God bless the audience of the live show for sticking around, and if you can stand to listen to it, here’s what to expect: The army dude who mistook his own ridiculous opinion with the military’s recruitment snobbery by calling gay people “immoral” and why he’s wrong to be such a moron, why moving the clock forward one hour has thrown our hero’s busy life into turmoil, the legal system is in turmoil and Spike refuses to trust it… does the killer of an 8 year old child deserve the death penalty if he, too, has the mind of a child? Lighterly, a store in Spain has banned skinny mannequins, the hot teachers who do the mattress mambo with their students and the British kids’ TV show that just couldn’t tell the truth… That – and a shedload of stuttering, thanks to outdated technology.

Dutch Courage
from C'est le Toon July 20, 2006
The Dutch governments proposals to deport as many as 26,000 failed asylum seekers, which would violate international standards, signal a serious departure from the Netherlands historic role as a leader in human rights protection in Europe, Human Rights Watch said in a letter to Dutch Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk. The failed asylum seekers including children would be deported over the next three years. Many have been in the asylum process for years, and include Somalis, Afghans,, and stateless persons. Human Rights Watch is concerned that sending people back to states without a functioning government, such as Somalia, or to states otherwise insecure due to continuing post-conflict violence, like Afghanistan, would place their safety at risk. The Dutch government claims that the proposals are safe and humane, said Rachel Denber, acting executive director of Human Rights Watch's Europe and Central Asia Division. But sending people back to places where they could be in danger not only jeopardizes their safety, it is illegal. For years, asylum seekers endured an inefficient asylum process they worked, went to school, raised families, and waited. Threats to their safety and well-being are the price they be forced to pay for the past mistakes and abuses inherent in the Dutch system.
