God's Gender
from fluido on April 23, 2008
Duration: 126
Duration: 126
It s popular today to attribute gender to God to further a position of chauvinism or feminism when in reality God doesn t have a gender. The scriptures teach us that God is Father, Son and Spirit and Jesus came as a man, but both men and women bear the image and likeness of God and are created equally. Pastor Mark Driscoll explains God s gender in this clip from the Image sermon in our series Doctrine. The full sermon is available at http://is.gd/8pH.

A Life that Images God
from fluido on April 23, 2008
Duration: 460
Duration: 460
All people are image bearers of God. Because of this, we value human life from the unborn to those who are crippled and those who are comatose. Our world says that if you are a certain way then your value changes, but God made you so if you re not beautiful or if you re an invalid you don t have less worth. Pastor Mark Driscoll preaches on the practicality of living a life that images God in this clip from the Image sermon in our series Doctrine. The full sermon is available at http://is.gd/8pH.

Adobe: See What's Possible: One Man Show
from Istanbul - Turkiye on March 05, 2008
Duration: 15
Duration: 15
Author: q3c Added: Wed, 05 Mar 2008 15:16:18 -0800 Duration: 15"One Man Show" is my submission to the Adobe + Cut&Paste: See What's Possible challenge. The entire video was created using Photoshop and After Effects (with a little help from Illustrator for the logos). The grass field is a particle system based on the standard Photoshop "Grass Blade" brush. The house is a composite of several dozen photographs of different buildings taken in Istanbul, Turkey. The main character is portrayed by a friend of mine, Alex Waldman - I took 128 photographs of him, turned them into the image sequence and added morphing blurs and distortions in post. No 3D application was used in making of this project.

IMAGO - Animated short

Psychology. An often idealized image of a person, usually a parent, formed in childhood and persisting unconsciously into adulthood. All cons that one can have against short films fall as of first images from this superb drawing animated, twelve minutes mixing technical 2d and 3d Fascinating of hack vast screen biographical (a father who as an aviator crashed, its orphan son which one sees growing and aging in a lyric continuum), Imago... is a tour de force . But it is also the brilliant adequacy between the means of animation, the reduced format, a refined chromatic pallet declining the autumn in erudite architectures of brown cathedrals, the direction of the elasticity of the time wasted and found in the same retrospective movement. Remain to know if the system of French production, which has neither Pixar nor Studio Ghibli, can help this kind of talent not to finish as a designer for commercials or an anonymous flunkey for large foreign productions directed by Cedric Babouche
