This week s iheartbrooklyn.tv segment features: The Bushwick Open Studios and Arts Festival (B.O.S.) happening June 6-8, this weekend. An annual self-organized festival. BOS boasts an extensive list of artists working in several mediums and encourages artists, onlookers, and performers to come out on the street and see one another, collaborate, and celebrate community. An interview with filmmaker Gina Telaroli about the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective party/screening entitled BASED ON A REAL EVENT, on Thursday June 5, 2008 at UnionDocs. Price of admission for screenings of short films gets you free beer all night. An interview with Adam Watt and A.R. Plovnick about Friday s show at DIY venue Aladdin s Garden in Sunset Park, featuring A.R. Plovnick, Many Mansions, Truman Peyote.
