This edition of The Morning Swim Show features an interview with first-time Olympian Ben Wildman-Tobriner and previews the Olympic matchup between Ian Crocker and Michael Phelps in the 100 butterfly.Host Peter Busch talks to Wildman-Tobriner, the reigning world champion in the 50 freestyle, about training in Palo Alto, where Wildman-Tobriner lives. The two also discuss the competition in the men's 50 freestyle at the Olympics and the rehabilitation Wildman-Tobriner went through to heal his torn pectoral muscle, which he suffered during a weightlifting session last winter. The final individual-race event preview from Swimming World senior writer John Lohn covers the men's 100 fly, which is essentially a discussion of the epic battle between Michael Phelps and Ian Crocker, who are almost assured to take the top two spots.
