http://www.scmp.com/video/ Parrots, of all colours and sizes, are now becoming a popular pet and a life-long partner for Hongkongers. Paul Lee, chairman of the Hong Kong (International) Parrots Association, says that they love to interact with humans, and that the bond between owner and pet is very strong. He says they are more interactive than dogs and display a personality that you can't find in other animals. In this video, Paul shows us some of his pet parrots before talking about the costs associated with keeping these colourful birds.

http://www.scmp.com/video From November 26 to December 9, this year's DETOUR event will once again bring together a dynamic array of art, design and creativity. This also coincides with Donald Tsang's plans to revitalise the Central District into a more sustainable and creative hub. The 90-year-old Former Police Married Quarters, once the home of our chief executive, will be the main anchor venue for Detour as it will be transformed into a performing arts venue and gallery. At a press event for Detour, a graffiti artist painted his impression of the Quarters while we chat with Alex Lo, chairman of the HK Ambassadors of Design and iconic designer Douglas Young. The founder of G.O.D. will be creating an installation mysteriously titled 'Room 414' at the venue.
