His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, humanitarian and founder of the Art of Living, concluded a 3-day visit to Sri Lanka on April 22, 2009. With the aim to bring solace to the refugees in the camps and drive a peaceful reconciliation to the conflict, Sri Sri met several dignitaries and civilians. Sri Sri offers solace and comfort to the people in the Manik and Vavuniya camp for Internally Displaced People (IDP), Sri Lanka. Whatever you need for a good and dignified life, I am there to support you, he said.He appealed to the President of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mahinda Rajapakse to avoid a long stay of Tamils in the IDP camps. A day earlier, Sri Sri was the key note speaker at the All-Ceylon Buddhist Congress which honoured him and expressed happiness at his visit to the troubled island nation.
