tonight I was invited to go see John Hodgman read from his book "The Areas of My Expertise". he was uttery charming, adorable and hilarious; his book looks fabulous. his partner provided musical support, making iot quite an entertaining show -- see him if he's reading somewhere near you. this was the intro to his reading.

I took several videos of Hodgman's reading but I'm only going to post a few until his book tour is over; this one is where he explains how the hobos staged an uprising after the Great Depression and Roosevelt eliminated them with germ warfare -- that is, after Hodgman defaced the interior of Cody's with his *gang signs*.
